Lucky guy…..now just lay off the bacon so you can enjoy it a little longer.
hey love vid I brought a cheap ar15 and I want to build .458 and I looked at KAK ind. website but they don't have complete kit for 8" kit. could you please list exactly what you used so I can build my like yours. thanks again.
what tool are you using to squeeze pins in place?
Omg we got the sam gun
I thought they were for killing Hogs since you look like a hog wouldn't that be genocide
You overplayed the term made in house. A business is not a house, and believe me the manufacturing process of the barrels and casting of uppers to machining processes are not all made in house. They are casted one place, sent to a machine shop then sent to a finishing location for anodizing etc. I bet not one of those parts are made in house lol
So is this the original or the stolen Tromix?
Cool dudes at KAK, they are in Oxnard my old Hometown!!!!
When you find yourself saying, "Like I said…", realize you are repeating yourself. I think most viewers on YouTube would prefer to simply rewind if they miss something or want to hear it again. Just a little tip. Thanks for the information on the upper.
Would've been a more informative video if specs. were included … dia.@flat / pre. drilled c-to c gas block / etc. but thanks for your time making this video as it is the first watched and it has sparked my interest in 458socom.
WHO WILL GUARD THE GUARDS
Excellent info, Thanks! I just finished a 300 AAC pistol build, turned out great. 458 comes next. Can I ask, why do you not drill and taper pin your gas block…I understand the dimples will most likely work just fine but the extra bit of confidence…another thing, I see you're using blue Loctite on the gas block set screws…why not Rock-set? it has a 3000 degree temp range and can still be broke loose for dis-assembly if necessary….Thanks again! Hill
hey kip is this barrel better then the Wilson Combat heavy recon barrel?
I love it!! Got my dies ordered already. Need a shell plate yet. Wilson Combat has me on a waiting list for my 16" Thanks again Kip! Im hooked on this round. I think Im gonna do my pistol build in 458 socom also. Was gonna do a 300 blkout pistol, but tbis just makes all the sense in the world!!
After watching this, I checked out their site. It seems KAK only has a 30 day warranty, where as others have a lifetime warranty for similar prices. Am I missing something? I'll gladly shell out an extra 100 for a lifetime warranty….just saying…
You know UTG builds some good stuff, great video brother.
Hi Kip will you be doing a video on reloading the Hornady.45(.458) ammo? Please!!!
Meanwhile everyone struggles hammering in the roll pins, kip is over here just using pliers to speed things up.
Prepperkip what does this build cost? I was wondering about buying the completed upper from KAK or building one… I have a lonely lower already 🙂
Thanks for the video, is the dust cover a normal mil spec cover? Thanks Erik
Nice build. After watching your other videos I'm surprised you didn't go with the KAK flash can.
Awsome how much the price?
Is the AFG legal for a pistol?
