I live under a military dictatorship and what you say about power of law being derived form the tip of a gun is very true. My family used to own hunting rifles and shotguns but those were confiscated long ago.

I agree with the point you just made. Just because I don't own any of the guns that would be banned by this bill, that doesn't mean that I won't oppose it. If they ban the AK and AR rifles, then the lever actions and revolvers that I want to own for cowboy action competition are just one layer down from that.
