  1. Hell no not worth it to me. I bought my psa rifle complete and sent to my local ffl dealer for 519.99 in 08/2019. 550-600 for a psa complete kit to me is ridiculous.

  2. Im trying to find something but i don't really know what to get… THINKING about an ar but not sure and im DEFINITELY on a tight budget… I also want to buy from a brick and mortar in pa near philly or the best option I believe is a private sale but I don't know how to find someone that wants to sell… i know not many people do right now but I know therd are some does ANYONE KNOW A PLACE TO FIND PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SELL? THE OPTION IS TO GO TO A SHOW IF THERE'S ONE THAT'S WORTH GOING TO AROUND PHILADELPHIA OR SOMEWHERE WITHIN LIKE AN HOUR OF PHILA AREA

  3. I guess I got lucky. I found the ONLY AR 556 S&W SPORT II. IN. MY. CITY AT 8'. . 3 OR. 4. YRS AGO THEY WERE AT 450. AMO. 25. BOX OF 20 ,. SO I FOUND 223 AT 16 A BOX. WOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED !

  4. Anyone order from PSA recently and how long did it take, did a build in june took a month to get my kit. Just ordered a 11.5 upper with kit on black friday wondering if itll be here by xmas.

  5. I’m going to sound like an elitist or gun snob here but please don’t take it that way.
Pay for what you genuinely can afford, but remember there is really no such thing as “just as good.” Sure you may get lucky and get a palmetto or ruger that just runs like a champ and eats everything you throw at it, but they are very hit or miss. They are cheap for a reason. Qc, quality parts, and painstaking r&d cost money. I’m not saying go out and waste money on a gold plated bolt carrier groups and useless Gucci parts but understand what does into the manufacturing of your weapon.
If your rifle is just going into the closet only to be used a couple times a year with a few dozen rounds, by all means pick up that cheap ar. But if you plan to take classes or put moderate use on the tool you purchase I probably wouldn’t settle for anything less than an aero precision.
But better yet brands like Bcm, pws, Sonics, SOLGW and a couple others who really take the time to perfect their craft would probably be your best bet imo…..that is if you can find anything in stock 😅

  6. Anyone looking for a complete upper goto midstate firearms- just got mine in this week and it’s shipped in 1 day and it’s insane build quality for a budget upper. I’ve shot everything from DPMS to BCM, MK12’s, custom fancy carbon fiber gucci builds and midstate is honestly insane for its price. Good guys too, they’re not out gouging like PSA and others

  7. Well looks like YouTube decided I didn't need to be notified about this….

This couldn't have come at a better time I'm assembling an AR15 for a Friend in my church who didn't have one. I've dug around in my parts crates and I'm only lacking a buffer, BCG, a 14.5 inch barrel and a brake to pin and weld to it.
I've already got him 7 mags and 250 rounds.

  8. I have a bear creek arsenal 556 upper. Got it for under 200 during the shut down. It runs well except when it came, the gas block wasn’t on right, keeping the gun from cycling. After that was corrected, I’ve put 500 rounds through it just fine, including cheap steel case too

  9. I like your philosophy of considering all-encompassing factors, pro and con. Financial concerns are quite legitimate . . . I am happy to see a post concerning that. I run a simple triad and do not 'collect' small arms. A DPMS-SASS AR10 with a NightForce and some trick accuracy work . . . an STI 4.15 Tactical in .45ACP, and a Winchester 1200 12-Ga. I have enough ammo to run them for what I need . . . but not enough worry to try to hoard pounds and pounds of lead. Fed Gold Medal Match, basic 230 hardball, and slugs and buckshot for the shotty. Simple, effective, and common rounds.
