  1. 7.62×54 rimmed vs 7.62×63 or 3006. Russia used a 148 grain and America used 150 grain both 2700 fps. 54r had a bore of .311 and the 06 had .308 bore so they're almost the same the only big difference is the cartridge

  2. Sir, I know I am just a loser watching youtube videos from my parents basement, to make the test be even more fair/equal. Shouldn't a bolt action rifle with the same barrel length be used? I am no "expert", that being said, I do know that using a direct impingement semi auto rifle is bleeding off, using some of the gas via the gas port, to cycle the action of the .308/ 7.62×51, some of the expanding gases? Thus reducing some of the potential velocity of the projectile? Just saying….well thanks for the content… enjoyed the video…..gotta go, my parents are yelling at me to go take out the trash and look for gainful employment…..later.

  3. Зачем стрелять по бетону мягкой пулей? После первой стенки такую пулю разрывает на части. Возьми военный бронебойный патрон. К тому же ТулАмо – это самые дешевые и низкокачественные патроны. Сравнение не корректно.

  4. another fun video to watch! obviously not a scientific comparison and not intended to be. there is no 'fair' when comparing different calibers unless you use the best round in both. but then you have to figure out best for what. ignore those who cry foul. personally i like to use a 208gr or heavier for the mosin to break stuff. but its all great fun regardless

  5. The cinder blocks are ok.. but they are not built equal and some are more brital then others..

Should do the same test but use 2×8" blocks of wood.. with multiple stacks..

  6. It's ok we call them cinder blocks down here in the south. Good video really don't know a whole lot about the 7.62 by 54. I've recently purchased an AR-10 chambered in 7.62 by 51 or 308 and still learning about it. I'm really an old-school kind of guy this still wants to go back to his bolt action rifle however I do like the AR-10 or you can just let him fly. Keep up the good work man and God bless you and your family.

  7. The mosin is usually loaded hotter than 308. Especially the milsurp stuff with steel cores or s&b hunting rounds. U kind of had the absolute cheapest 7.62×54 made. Still a cool video. I think a really cool video idea would be to test the recoil of those 2 guns bc they are pretty close in power. I bet the cmmg is way softer shooting!!

  8. Enough cinder blocks nothing goes through them except A50 I watched some dude lineup barrels of water to see how many the BMG would go through. Maybe it was just an act or maybe he was so ignorant he thought it would go through a half a dozen. Well now it went into the second one that's it

  9. Nice video 2 of my favorite rounds as well I think the mosin should've been redone to try and center more. But both are absolute devastating rounds. Maybe do another video using the 2 rifles again maybe rig up a small block wall and try it. Small wall as in 9 blocks stacked try em with different ammo.

  10. did you giy the same ammo with the same grains cause the quality of ammo will make the difference sometimes am able to get a 20 rounds box of 7.62×54 mm for $5 buck's and the 308 for $30 buck's and and the last times at the range the mosing nagant got stuck one case in the chamber due the low quality of ammo on the mosing nagant and 308 we are able to get pretty good rounds and have no problems on jammed gun or low penetration that's the difference my friend who tee who by the way i love your semi 308 cmmg rifle i want one for my own

  11. Bolt vs semi-auto and then you fired 54R at angle as opposed to 308 where you hit in dead center and if you know about angling then you get the idea. In your comparison you used bad equipment and hit target incorrectly. RE-DUE comparison but this time please GET YOU SHIT TOGETHER 😀

  12. Looked to me like the 54r dumped more energy in the first 2. It's like a 5.56 vs 7.69 test. The 7.62 is a bigger fist and the 5.56 is a better high speed slicer. Same here.
