  1. Nice video Johnny B. I am on the hunt for a 5.7 upper now for sure. I love the round and I need a rifle that shoots this beast. Unfortunately the .50-.60 per round has ballooned to a buck a round now if you can get it at all. Just subscribed so thanks again for the content

  2. I live in an apartment in a city. Over-penetration is a major concern. I’ve been trying to figure out a solution and it looks like 5.7 was designed from the ground up to meet that need.

Another consideration that as someone who knows little to nothing about guns, I want to flatten my learning curve and logistics. I’ve been looking for a single caliber for actual pistols (not the SBRs but with a brace because the NFA!) and long guns. The 5.7 looks to be the caliber for the purposes I have in mind.

  3. I am in the process of building me a 5.7 x28 Banshee, with a 5" barrel. I have a pistol dedicated lower for a Glock. My question is. Will a FN, EST, or any other mag fit in this Glock lower? A promag or something?

  4. Omfg I HATE you Johnny for making me watch this. NOW I HAVE TO GO BUY THIS NEW CMMG 5.7. Ugh!!!! I shot one yesterday at the range and after watching this video I am now hooked. Gonna use this new 5.7 for Miss Piggy hunting here in Texas. Yes, at “feeder range” distances (like 15 feet or so) the 5.7 will drop ANY sized hog when you put it in the ear holes.

  5. 5.7 should be an ideal set up for bank employees. Additionally I would like a rifle configuration for medium to large pests. It would be great on penetration of hog skull or minimal damage to fur on coyotes/bobcat.

  6. Am I the only one who thinks that 5.7 is a joke in anything that you shoulder. I get why its used in the P90, but if your going to have any other rifle you might as well have somthing like 5.56 or 300blk.

  7. Most stores I`ve seen only have about 6-8 boxes ammo on the shelf at a time but it is a newly returned cal. . And only one choice of load but many others are like that no selection of loads.
