  1. I’m having issues with mounting this light. I have it screwed on tight but it will still come off when shooting. It’s like it’s not catching on the picatini slots

  2. I spoke received a response and spoke with Safariland customer service and the email and conversation both said that the TLR-8A would NOT fit in the Safariland holster made for the TLR-7. The 7A and 8A appear to be exactly the same dimensions, but the 8A has the laser emitter bump on the bottom.

This is unfortunate since I really like the Safariland ALS holsters. That holster will fit a lot of lights, but guess that laser emitter bump is just to much.

  3. So the TLR-7A does fit inside of safariland holsters made for the x300…..? Hmmmm I know the ALS system locks at the chamber, where does the SLS lock at? I assume if the light fits then it means that the light is not the source of retention then.

  4. I know it states that the housings from the original TRL7 is not interchangeable with the TRL7A, is there anyway you can confirm that you can't just switch the rear switches? Thank in advance, and thank you for a great review!
