Got mine a month ago. Freakin' fun to shoot. Just get a forward hand grip to deal with the hand guard getting a bit hot. The Sig Romeo red dot sights are affordable and can make this novice shooter pretty accurate.
Not extending the rail all the way to the end of the rail is a huge mistake. I really love my optics and will depend on them. But back up irons, even plastic flip ups, are always needed.
the only thing that bothers me, is that if this is meant as an entry level ar platform rifle, it doesnt come with iron sights in the box …. beginners shouldnt have to go through the hassle to install iron sights on mlock …. also the handguard will heat up a lot where theres no mlock slots …. obviously they want beginners to not just buy the rifle itself but a bunch of those accessories … at least they arent that expensive. anyways, love the rifle, i trust the rifle, i lay my life into the parts of this tool.
Couldn't SIG just put the 15" hand guard on it instead of that useless thing that comes in stock? that's the only thing keeping me from getting this rifle. Of course, this is SIG's marketing strategy to force you to spend more money on an already expensive rifle.
They really screwed up with the rail on this rifle. Where the most heat is generates there are ZERO Mlok holes. Also they did not put an Mlok area built into the top of rail for the front sight. Anybody who runs a rifle hard knows that is a BIG mistake. Other than that I'm sure it works. Just not for a very high use rifle.

Just got one last week, installed a Romeo 5 and Juliet 4, shoots beautifully.

Didn't know Seth Rogen was a Sig fan
Love my Sig M400 tread. Another great AR from Sig. paired it with Sig Romeo 5 red dot. Very accurate. Thank you Sig!
Beautiful weapon 😌
THAT CARTRIDGE 5.56 IS TO SMALL….AK-47 7.62 IS STILL KING.

Any AR part for the most part will fit that and does it need a dumb tread logo. The whole idea about matching up a logo is just a gimmick
I'm sold, where can I get one?
Can this also fire .223?
699 new
Just bought the Sig M400 tread with Tango4 optics for my first modern sporting rifle and I am happy as can be with it.
I got one a couple weeks ago. I threw some flip up iron sights and a Romeo 5 red dot on it. Gotta say, it's a tack driver.
Sig ARS OR BCMS and why?
Please review the spring field Armory Saint Victor 5.56
What kind of rail system
Too heavy
