Ive owned several of these firearm lights & laser combined units. First, this product is the best in its class. You have the option to save money and go with the red laser.
I wouldnt. This is an investment piece and the green is so much easier to see.The lumen brightness is so powerful that it is a “deterrent” itself. The strobe is not all that helpful to me BUT if you have a use for it, I can see it disorienting the target.
Overall this is a safe and reliable yet highly effective product with about a 45 second install (on an MPX SIG SAUER). One handed functionality is a breeze.5 stars plus!
This laser/light combo is great for handguns and rifles as well. The 3 settings are nice. Just laser, just flashlight, or both. Fast switch flip allows great versatility.
The light strobe function can dissorrient a theatening person, especially due to how extremely bright it is. The green laser is very powerful and Is highly visible day or night.
Works well even if you already have a scope like an EoTech, this item helps, because it can be sighted for closer engagements while your EOTECH is sighted for further targets.
I have both as well as canted iron sights in case my sights were ever to fail.. Doesnt take up much rail space either when mounted so you can still use foregrips, bipods, etc
High quality, easy activation, reliable. Worth the money. This one is a bit bright for indoors, but it’s still usable. I have it for outdoors when I’m walking my dog at night. The light on this is like a spotlight!
Very good light dispersion; not a bright hot spot in the center and actually fills the whole room with light well.Switches work well, but you cannot use strobe mode without double tapping the impulse switch, meaning you have to hold the switch down if you want it to stay on strobe mode.
Switch to move between laser, light, and laser/light is solid and in a good position.Mounting was straight forward, and switching out the plastic block from the glock (what comes pre-installed) with the 1903 (picatinny) rail interface was easy with 1 screw.It comes included with 2 hex wrench, one to install the rail interfacing blocks, and one to adjust windage and elevation on the laser.
It does not come with a tool to tighten it to the rail, but the hardware is designed in such a way where you can get a decently tight mounting just with your fingers, you will need a large flat head if you want to really crank it down.Overall extremely happy, planning on put 1k+ rounds with it on the gun and seeing if it has any long term reliability issues.
This by far the most powerful weapon light I’ve used. Also, the green laser pushes out much further than a red laser.
This weapon light can be switched between my pistol and my rifle quickly, the only requirement is to re-zero/boresight the laser for the different ranges being applied.
The unit is a little bulky and will add significant weight to your muzzle end so please practice and get used to the change of weapon COG.
