In my quest to find a way to have a firearm that uses .22LR ammo, I had to try this kit. I need something that can fire any .22LR ammo reliably.
The mags HOLD the bolt open, and at one point I did say “back to the rear”…Ooops…my bad!!
$200 well spent. Thank y’all for watching my vids!

  1. Those seem like something really good to add to your kit. Especially if you are on a tighter budget. If you can add a suppressor to it then you can add to the "stealth" part of things.

  2. Thanks for the presentation. I can't believe you found a 1000 brick of 22LR for $40.
That said, I have 1000s of 22LR and I just bought this CMMG conversion kit with 3 mags. I can't wait to put a few mags down range.

  3. Yeah I got mine not to long ago. I love it. I'm don't know why it's not talked about as one of the standard accessories to the AR-15 223/556 platforms. I would choose the platform just because of this ability to have fun with 22lr and turn it back into a hulk with the 556 when needed.

  4. At risk of sounding like a commercial when I'm just a very satisfied owner, this gadget isn't just worth having, I think it's an absolute must-have item for anybody that owns an AR. And as a bonus, it'll pay for itself just due to the ammo savings after you've put about 4-500 rounds of .22LR instead of .223/5.56 through it, even at today's over-the-top prices. Only caveats are give it a wipe with an oily rag now and again, and don't rest the gun on the mag, or try to use the mag like a front grip – Both will turn it into a jam-o-matic almost every time. Aside from that, swap BCGs (takes all of about thirty seconds – if you're loafing) and run a round or three of "full strength" .223/5.56 through after every couple hundred rounds of .22LR to blow any fouling (either powder-crud or lead/copper shavings) out of your gas port and tube before it can build up thick enough to cause any actual trouble.

  5. 9/14/2020 Hello, Just confirmed my order. Thanks for the tip. Also your 10-22 still down? Mine is in box not opened but secured away at a vault. 2nd week back tool if I bug out. Don Note 10 weeks>

  6. I bought a dpms dedicated upper a while back it was amazing. I gave it to my son so he could shoot cheaper while at college…mistake…he won’t give it back and they don’t make them anymore. The 1:7 barrel in my HBAR didn’t work well with a colt original kit. The best I could get was minute of backstop so I sold it. I’ve got a spare upper so I’ll build a dedicated setup with cmmg parts.
