  1. Listen I do not draw any money from MSR Arms. For those people upset for me suggesting you go over there I support my friends. I don’t care if you buy one at all. I also don’t care if you go to Brownells or eBay. I’m not a huge channel with a ton of connections so I talked to one I trust and he said he had an order in so I shared that. He gave me this thing years ago. Only seemed fair to support him in return.

  2. I have one of these and the dang thing is always jamming up. And when it jams ya gotta break open the rifle to clear the jam because the spent casing basically stovepipe between the bolt rails. Any tips?? I keep it cleaned and oiled so I know that's not the issue.

  3. Nice video. Just subscribed to your channel. Ordered one a few minutes ago at primary arms..in stock 3-5-21. A mfg note says the bolt carrier prefers rounded hammers..flat hammers not so much. Anyone using larue mbt's or Geissele fire control groups successfully with this CMMG drop in?

  4. Assuming you can find one, buy it! You won't be sorry! Caveats: wipe it down with an oily rag – it runs happier "just slightly moist". DO NOT treat the magazine as a front grip, or rest the rifle on the mag as a "monopod" – Do either, and it'll become a jam-o-matic. Put a couple rounds of .223/5.56 through your rifle for every couple-hundred rounds of .22LR to blow any crud (general .22LR filth, and if you're using "naked" lead ammo, possibly lead shavings in your gas port) out of your gas system and keep it from building up to problem levels. As quick and easy as it is to swap between ,22LR and .223/5.56, that's not much of a chore.

  5. In the fake 223 case, is it just a solid tube/barrel leading straight to the regular barrel? I feel like if it isn't it would be less accurate moving/gases expanding in that space.

  6. I built a dedicated 22lr using a cmmg barrel and cmmg bolt. The bolt is just like the conversion kit with a different collar since the chamber is part of the barrel and not bolt. Love it. If you decide to build a dedicated rifle the conversion bolts chamber collar can be changed to a standard collar and save the price of a new bolt.

  7. Fine idea but just buy a 10/22 and have fun. Then, when the zombies come (and they will come) you’ll still have your AR AND a 10/22 that you can arm another member of your army with.
