That is a great way to save a little money, but may I give you guys another option. The Mantis blackbeard is a bolt carrier replacement that lets you dry fire and it also resets the trigger for you, combined with their new laser Academy the set is an incredible training tool. I don't have one yet but they are on the shopping list. I have friends that have it and they love it. It is a bit costly up front but dry fire saves do much $$$.
