Thank you!!! I built an AR upper but purchased a bushmaster rifle barrel with the A2 front sight already installed. (No Gas Tube) I had manipulated the gas tube I bought for it a dozen different ways trying to get it to work and was about to remove the front sight/gas block until I decided to search good ole pewtube for a video. I had not tried to do it the way you have shown in the video. You saved me time and money because I would have probably left off the A2 sight and bought a free float rail since it was already broken down that far. Once again thank you.
Hi live, my names steve im installing a new m4 barrel I just purchased for a Olympic Arms for my M4 problem im having im doing everything you show but when I slide gas tube into front site im a1/8 off from the whole and cant get the tube to move forward anymore. note I did have to clean the front site gas tube hole out because it had a white film on the barrel I guess from being in storage . if I remove barrel from receiver I can get the tube into the front site with no problems any suggestions would help me thank you … steve
i have a colt barrel with ar-15 gas block -the length is from breach to end of barral is about 20 inches -the gas tube rol pin back to breach is about 14-1/2 inches -where do i get -a gas tube for this -this is my first build -i am changing out gas block for a lowerp profile with pintal rails -cant spell -need to know how long i need and hand guard

What happens if you put the gas tube on backwards with the dog leg on the wrong side?
