You need to disassemble and reassemble the gun..maybe some people will take it as built then and feel better about themselves..weird i optioned my 300 almost exactly the same only I added a bad lever and ms4 sling..the mag that came with it sucks so I added some 300 specific ones.

Ooh. You call it a pistol but you shouldered the pistol brace, so I assume you got your SBR tax stamp, and you just keep slipping when you call it a pistol, because it also has a vertical foregrip, even though it’s a hand stop. But funny how the atf says that you change the design to be a short Barreled Rifle as soon as you shoulder the pistol brace, you clearly are using the pistol brace as a stock so by doing that, according to the atf you are using it as an sbr now so it is an sbr, even though it’s a pistol. Unless they changed it, because I had an AR pistol, and I was told by the atf that if the atf feels like you’re using it as an sbr, without a tax stamp, you’re busted, they said they look at signs of intent, but don’t specifically say what those signs are except shouldering a pistol brace. I’m probably wrong, I’m guessing you have the SBR tax stamp and you just accidentally called it a pistol
Its probably kicking because your brace is 4 inches off your shoulder bruv lol. Work on your position and grip

Ehh the blue loctite is cool. Just make sure your Allen/hex key is the exact size or the blue loctite won’t budge and you will strip your screws . Me , I never made that mistake 🙂 😉 🙁

Good luck with that, I was going to build one too. I investigated ammo. If you can find it, it’s $30 for a box of 20. So that build turned into a 556 10.5” build instead. I still have 2 other 80% lowers in case things turn around. What I can’t believe is, I used to see 300 BO ammo at Walmart, never gave it a second thought. My how times have changed.
On my 10.5 300blk went with the dd fixed sights and an olight. On a aero lower
