Is this round (big) Elk capable to within a couple hundred yards?
Wow, I didn't know it came out last year, plenty of bolt guns and breach load hunting guns are chambered in it, already and was one of the last rounds on the shelf in considerable numbers. I considered it instead of the 30-06 chambered savage axis 2 I ended up getting. Be interesting how it continues, and an AR chambered in it is pretty cool.perhaps something also to consider.
I think this will be a fun caliber to shoot. It probably suppresses well too. Most 9mm rated suppressors will likely shoot this as well, as a secondary benefit.

Vortex optics, you need to make a 1-8 or 1-10 optic with BDC for .350legend and name it the "Hickok Special"
The 300 black out mags like you have
I didn’t have much luck with those mags. My 350 AR is super accurate

You should tighten up the lock ring on that scope's occular lens before you go to shooting.
.350 and .450 fill a nitch for hunters in a few states that do not allow bottlenecked cartridges. I have both uppers on built lowers just because no one truly needs AR's in multiple calibers but we buy them because we can.

isnt the 35 remington a better cartridge?
From what I understand the 35 cal (.358) will not work in the 350 Legend. The 350 legend will only function with a .357-.355, I think that is the only major down fall of the 350 Legend.

Was interested until I saw the 5.56 casing. Ar-47 all day.
I bought a ruger Ameican in 350 legend, and it shoots pretty accurate. The recoil is really not that bad. I think it’s even better than a .308. And I saw that they restocked the shelves with 350 legends. They’re like $15 for 20rds of winchesters.

If you developing a new round and you put it in a ar platform or fit into a standard ar the round should be a hit.
Just picked up a Ruger American in 350 and look forward to hunting in Ohio not sure when you flmed this but ammunition prices have doubled for it.

Cmmg is Great but expensive for no reason to be anything better an others. personally id own buy something as the 5.7 from them but otherwise im not a fan of over priced without a purpose…..

I would love to see a 458 Socom on your range. I think that you would appreciate the vast diversity of power factors and bullet types for this caliber. 500 gr subsonics to 250 grain smokers! I just got an upper for my standard AR 556 and other than ordering a couple of Lancer mags-which work well with the cartridge, it's good to go! Hope you humor me, and always enjoy your words of wisdom.

I still say the 7.62 AK round is ideal. Rounds like these or Blackout are simple expensive alternatives made over here. Good luck finding them versus the 7.63x39mm.
