  5. While I agree that Eotech is the best magnifier.
    I own a 558/G33 and love it!
    I also have a UTG 3X & a G43 replica.
    I honestly think that for most people, a $70-$100 magnifier would suit them just fine, especially those that just go to the range 1-4 times a year. If you don't train and do drills, then and all you do is shoot from a bench, then you don't really need the robustness of Eotech. The Eotech doesn't offer 10x the performance but it is almost 10x the cost.
    The UTG is actually decent. The mount is nowhere near as refined as Eotech's but nobody's is and it still does the job.
    The G43 clone is actually pretty impressive in the glass & mount department. Although, IDK how reliable it will be. The only issue with the clone is that the turrets are mushy piles of crap and don't hold zero for long without needing minor adjustment back. This isn't a huge issue being that the reticle is on the RDS, not the magnifier.
    Either of these will work great for the occasional range dweller.
    I just set up a AT3 TACTICAL RDS/magnifier combo on a buddy's carbine. It is a very nice setup for $200 that is enough optic for most.
    Hell, you can get away with a $35 Amazon Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 clone with a 2 MOA dot (they are actually really good) and a $70 UTG 3X magnifier. This setup works surprisingly well and comes to your door for about $115 with tax. That is hard to beat!
    I have up to $5k in some of my AR builds but I come from humble beginnings, respect value and will always love doing more with less.

  12. Just ordered the G45 on Optics Planet. We will see how long it takes to get. I wish there were reviews already out on the G45, lots of cash to spend on something and it does not work out for me.

  14. Nice review, nice channel. I originally bought a vortex micro 3x along with my eotech. Maybe I was drawn in with the looks, but I realized that it would be useless for me on a HD rifle where the longest justifiable shot I would make would be ~25 yds. Not to mention that shit gets heavy and I’m a little bitch. For now, it’ll just be a range toy. Curious how the newly released eotech magnifiers will stack up to the current offerings on the market.

    Why do liberals always dismiss pizza gate? I know you're joking, but it seems like constant trend among everyone left of the grill. I remember growing up when liberals were constantly hounding the Catholic Church for every accusation they could. What happened? Where did the concern go?

  19. I just bought one of these for these exact reasons after trying an LPVO. Im glad I heard someone singing the exact same tune as me.

    I had an LPVO (Shitty Strike Eagle while trying) whike cyote hunting. There was a rabbit RIGHT in front of me and even with the throw lever I knew I wouldn't have time to switch. Looked through the scope…completely lost. I missed a rabbit like 10 feet away.

    I bought an EXPS3-0 but wanted a little more range with an easy way to switch. Its not as versatile at long range but I cant be missing at 10 feet.

  22. Sorry for the 245 comments but do you think this will work with my MBUS Pro BUIS? I’d still like to have them on there. Waiting for the G45 and planning on snagging it as soon as it comes out. But I really hope I can keep the BUIS.

You're dumb if you think otherwise. As for the review the only thing I could add is if you rolled in some ranged footage. Maybe not so much shooting with it but perhaps some capture of what it looks like through the glass. Maybe you don't have the equipment for that, it would be cool imo. Might consider it in the future for optics reviews.

  32. Can you do you a review of the Trijicon 3x vs the Eotech g33? Behind an Eotech HWS. I love my ACOG and trust Trij products. Even though the magnifiers are contracted out in China, I dont think trij would put their name on a shoddy product. I just cant stand the weight and size of the g33. I saw a Trij 3x for $350 and saw it had the same mount as the G33 ( operationally), and weighed less. If the glass is decent enough to get hits with less weight than the G33 then I just might pop on one. The QD and stuff it method is a good idea but Im currently in Law Enforcement and my patrol rifle doesnt go everywhere with me, so carrying a magnifier on ME rn doesnt make any sense. I need it to stay with my rifle so whenever I grab my rifle I have it when I need it or dont need it. If you could do a table top review of them both side by side, no round count needed, each behind an EXPS that would be greatly appreciated. Well done on the channel so far!
