Just how accurate is the CMMG 22LR adapter for your AR15?? I set back at 35 yards to show expected accuracy from an adapter that feeds 22LR into your AR15 barrel.

I bought that conversion kit, and, I'm due to get it 2morrow, Feb. 15th, 2021. I'm using in the one & only AR-15, I have, which is a 7 1/2'' barrel pistol. I think it has a 1:7 or 1:8 twist. I'm only going be shooting it at 25 yards, because that's the max distance I can shoot on the property. And, all I've ever used in any .22 caliber rifle, pistol, or revolver is, CCI Mini-Mags, copper plated, 40gr. I'll never use anything but CCI ammo, to shoot .22's. As long as I can hit a target about 12'' in diameter at 25 yards, I'm very happy.
Sir you don't need more guns, you need some braces for your teeth and not your AR pistol.
I got two of these for both my AR's. My wife loves it because the rifle has zero kick, however, after shooting your 22LR rounds, I recommend shooting a few 556 rounds to clean out your rifle because the 22LR rounds really dirty up your rifle.
The accuracy is dependent on the barrel and the ammo, not the adapter. .22LR is bad for accuracy in the first place. There is only 1.5 grains of powder in the case, even a variation of .01 grains will affect the velocity of a 40 grain bullet. No matter what brand of ammo, you can never get 10 identical sounding shots in a row. Take off your hearing protection and listen to the gunshots, they will sound slightly different.
Dime size group at 35 yards is 1.876 MOA.
What I thought I had to get a new upper and a new buffer spring for 22lr!
That one downvote must be a libtard
What I want to know is it safe to throw a dedicated.22 can on the ar 15 platform without risk of a baffle strike
I’m new to guns/ar, would this damage or put any unusual wear on the gun?
How bad is it for the barrel?
I wanted one of these for years. Several years back, Bass Pro had them in stock so I drove there to get one and they had one on the shelf. I think it was around $175-$200. I took it to the cashier and noticed the bcg was missing from the package, the 2 or 3 mags were in there but the bcg had been stolen.
I finally ordered one online last year. I wish I had gotten one years ago, I could’ve saved thousands by shooting .22 long rifle out of my ar’s while plinking instead of .223 or 5.56. I have no accuracy issues either.
I love how all these channels act like they have a hard time finding ammo, like it’s not on pallets out back. Shit weak be honest, 👎
whats your barrel length and twist? out of my 18" 223 wylde 1/8 twist can barely keep it on paper at 50 with almost every grain weight. Im assuming the extra velocity from the longer combined with the faster twist, Im just spinning the 22lr too fast. Im curious of how it would do out of 7.5 upper since the velocity would make the spin a little slower…
After 1000 rounds constant failure to fire after every other round.
Disassembled and throughly cleaned twice. Pretty sad for 1000 rounds
What's your thoughts on the trybe defense magnification doubler? I had one and liked it until the mount broke loose…
With the ubiquitous 1 in 7 twist, I get about a 20 inch group at 10 yards. It's literally less accurate than a smooth bore musket. That's with CCI Mini Mags.
I’m waiting for mine to get delivered
Mine has horrible accuracy but I guess I’ll have to try more ammo.
Cci standard is an exelent round, most accurate out of all my 22's and great suppressed. Also you would think the higher velocity would be better with the lower twist in a 5.56 barrel at about half the rate as 22lr barrells. Great vid!
Me neeeed
that "lost" round at the end…that was great lol
Great vid bro, I've been on the fence about these, but not anymore due to your vid. As others have said in the comments, maybe you could make another vid with the AGUILA 60 gr rds, an let us see some real world testing with those, thx for the vid.
Very informative i appreciate. Thank you
Hey I may have missed it but what is ur rifle? a Spike's Upper and Lower? Barrel? also if you had to guess, what shot was the flier in every group? 1st shot, 2nd, or what? Im wondering if its ur 1st shot before tou get on target maybe
I watch all of your adapter vids. great info and very entertaining. Thanks.
What is your twist rate for your barrel?
Too bad there is no .22 lr ammo available to shoot. When I was a kid back in the 1960's you
could buy a box of 22 ammo at the local hardware store anytime. Conversion kits in .22 lr are a great idea, I hope someday there will be ammo available for them…..
Great video and great info! Thank you!
been looking into one of these but was concerned about accuracy for small game thanks for the video!!!
I have one of the CMMG conversion units for the my AR. My best accuracy is with Aguila, 60 grain, Super Sniper ammo.
I have one of those conversion kits, (10 rd Commiefornia mags). My wife likes shooting it more than I do.
Better than expected, and nice that the rifle ran on CCI Standard. Thanks for the video!
I use the 60gr Aguila SSS (Sniper SubSonic) in mine, and they perform very well. And they are extremely quiet, even without a suppressor, when I use my 24’ barrel.
Nice thorough video as always, thanks .
They work, but at more than twice the twist rate of a .22LR, kind of useless. Just get a .22 if you want to shoot .22. Don't take it out to 50 yards.
Great video! Might want to try a buffer tube plug along with the adapter for those who have poor accuracy from the rifle.
Man I love your content! Keep up the great work and thank you for the video brother
thanks was debating on getting a kit
Very interesting, this came out in time, looking at the CCMG .22 LR kit for my rifle, thx for the vid.
Great vid !!!!!!
Suprising groups out a 223. Wounder how they would fair out my 7.5 inch🤔
looks like Murphy was hanging out there at the end,😃….other wise good shootin
Nice setup. Good to get some practice in. Do you have to reset you scope when you go back to 223?
Its good maybe the faster twist in your ar, then gets dirty throwing the bullets of the latter bullets, do it at 50 yards plus cleaning your barrel.
I'm Alone 😍😥04:23

I was trying one of these in my 10.5" PSA pistol last weekend. Accuracy was fine for practice but the POI was way off. When things calm down I'm going to order another PSA kit for a dedicated .22lr.
I also tried out the Boonie Packer M&P15-22 mag adapter. That thing is pretty cool.
