Get yourself some appropriate shims. It's nearly impossible to line up a compensator without over or under torquing it using these stupid crush washers. Never understood why these are used. LaRue is smart and ships a pack of shims with their compensators, not these silly crush washers.
Which direction should the crush washer face?
I ended up crushing the crush washer and it deformed . I need to buy a new one
