  1. No one, EVER, reads the info typed in the description section underneath the channels name, apparently.
It makes me just about tear my ears off and rip my hair out as I'm reading the comments. Good grief!
But I sure did enjoy the vid, thanks. I've got a 7.5 in the making.

  2. I ordered the 10.5 inch barrel on my PSA pistol and am so glad I did because I do think it makes a difference all the way around. I have not tried steel cased in it but it likes the cheap Herters and PPU 55 grain, though right now I'm in ammo conservation mode like most people.

  3. Forgot to mention they do not recommend that muzzle brake for under 14 inch barrels you will feel the heat from the blast I have it on a 10 1/2 inch barrel and the flames are massive

  4. If you love that muzzle break you should try the M4 – 72 muzzle break by precision armament reduces recoil by 72% and oh my God it is a beautiful muzzle brake absolutely no rise on the barrel and recoil is absolutely minimal

  5. Expecting any decent accuracy from a short barreled pistol like this is quite pointless. These aren’t meant for any type of accuracy required shooting.

  6. Right answer by asking the wrong question. It isn't the ammunition manufacturer, it is the grain of the bullet in ratio the the twist rate of the barrel.

General rule of thumb… the tighter the spiral (1:7), the heavier the bullet. The looser the spiral (1:12 or 1:14), the lighter the bullet. So from my experience with AR's and Thompson Contender pistols, with the looser spiral (A1 or hunting pistol), the lighter bullets in 40-55 grain work best. With tighter spiral (1:7, 1:8) that you get with most modern AR barrels, the heavier bullets in 59-79 grain work best.

Try a 68 to 79 grain bullet from a Thompson contender (shorter barrel with slow twist), you will see the bullet profile 50% of the time as it hits paper sideways. Put a <55 grain bullet in same gun and it will be nice little 1/4 inch holes in the paper.

For effective spiral, any given bullet weight must match the barrel twist.
