  1. I really love and appreciate the safety reminders. It is easy to get complacent. Continual reinforcement prevents accidents.

Also, great video on mounting. I just mounted the same scope but made the mistake of aligning the rear with the charging handle with the scope cap on. I was craning my neck to get closer. The moment I saw you remove the cap I realized my error.

    Thank you!

  2. Jerry: The guy from Vortex on a separate video said the torque is 18 inch-pounds. You said is 18 ft-pounds at the beginning of the video. Nơ wonder there are so many Vortex scopes got sent back to the manufacturer for warranty repair.

  3. We used'ta sight in the main gun on our M60 series tanks with the old string and binocular method…set the strings on the muzzle…there were vertical and horizontal notches at the muzzle..then we'd get the binoculars and sight through the breech at the target and call the adjustments to the gunner who'd adjust the sight on his scope accordingly…this was the summer of 1971 at Ft Knox…

  4. Jerry please forgive me for asking something silly. But may I ask why you sight it in at 240 yards? I feel I know just wanted to hear your reasoning. Thank you. Or anyone that could help.

  6. Jerry is just such a…class act. Simple, efficient, light-hearted and good-natured. Got the to part 7:20 and realized that I've been over-doing my ring screws, and while I'm kicking myself (despite not damaging any of my gear, thankfully), he just sort like laughs it off, like no big deal, we all learn.

    Love this guy.

  7. I love all the vortex scopes I work at sportsman’s and can compare other glass to vortex and vortex always out performs I love the content and your products when I can afford it I will get more💯

  8. I've torched a scope properly. But then wen I went to switch mounts the screws on the rings stripped out. How do you get screws out safely without stripping the head. I use high end mounts. Any info would be much appreciated.
