What is the model of the rifle??
In which state are u in?
Outstanding explanation and advice. Thx CF
all 3?
Sucks the Marines don't use iron sights. My optic was messed up at one point so almost got to but they deemed it a "safety issue".
Some people really get mad when you say you need irons
"Looking cool is half the battle." so much this.
When the emp hits I will still have my acog lol
Correct red dot out to 400 yards LPVO out to600 &900yards or side mouth mont RMR foreclose quarter
Magpul MBUS Pro Iron Sights or the Daniel Defense Back up Sights you have on your carbine?
Swampfox lpvo 1-10x green bdc $449!
Beats all the 2-3,000 dollar competitors.
I need to upgrade my set-up I have 3x-9x lpvo and a canted red dot off the left cuz I'm a left handed shooter but I still need flip up sights cuz my lpvo is on a quick detach riser
they're all fun to shoot. Some work better than others for some because of age. My vision really needs the good part of low power variable scope…really good. I love peep sights, always have , but my vision is not what it was. That is life.
Reflex(solar backup)with 3x magnifier
Ar15 for everyone under your roof plus sidearms mags and ammo KISS good video night sights are very light weight
On your main rifle, 1x red dot with flip up back ups. Both zeroed at the most common engagement distance in your local area.
And if you really want magnification a flip over red dot magnifier.
Every time I try to mount iron sights on the top rail my OCD kicks in. My Iron sights are never centered in my red dot. I have to run offset irons. Out of sight till I need them.
I have a m&p sport ii with an eotech 512 a sling that’s my “red dawn” set up 😂
For Red dots my favorite and IMO the best red dot under 350 bucks is HS515CM.
I prefer LPVOs. TR24R and P4Xi 1-4 are my favorite. I rarely shoot past 300 yards so the 1-4 work well for me .
If I'm running a red dot I'm gonna be using 1/3 mount with DD FIXED BUIS . On my LPVO rigs I use Midwest or Magpul Folding BUIS..
16 inch barrel, eotech zeroed at 36 yards making center hits from 1yd to 300 yards.
I've got a straight 20x Lyman All American on my 1940's military 22 cal. target rifle, you can put the bullet back in the casing at 50 yards, just need to time your heart beat.
I've been shooting with iron sights for 3 decades now, hunting especially.Thought I would give optics a try last year and now I'm addicted to em! I didn't really consider them before because I lost an eye 13 or 14 yrs ago and just never used any prior. It was probably different finding what worked as a Cyclops rather than a lucky 3-D bastard?but I'll never know.Anyways this Cyclops is addicted to trijicon'$
You try and review the Monstrum 3x prism scope the Marksman.
Good Job Marine !!!
Iron sights only… get rid of the tactical joe dickhead battery operated toys
.223 or 300 blk
Great video I run a holographic sight on my MP 5 a LPVO on my Bren 2 11 inch 556 and a 6 x 24 scope on my 18 223 wydle AR 15 and my 762 X 51 and 6.5 Creedmoore AR 10 works well for me your mileage my vary.
Is that a Midwest industries hand guard on your ptr?
