USA: Armed person filmed near site of Kenosha shooting

UPDATE: Police have arrested the gunman seen in the footage and charged him with first degree intentional homicide in connection with the deadly shootings in Kenosha. He has been identified as 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse.

A man was filmed carrying a firearm near the site of a shooting which killed two people and injured one person in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday.

Police said at least one gunman opened fire on protesters during the third night of demonstrations in the city.

Kenosha has become the latest hotspot of protests against racism and police brutality after a 29-year-old black man identified as Jacob Blake was shot several times by officers on Sunday.

Blake is reported to be paralysed, with doctors unsure if he will recover the use of his legs.

  2. What Kyle Rittenhouse did shooting on unarmed civilians is just murdered innocent victims, according some points under here:
    It was completely not Kyle's job to protect civilian and property because it was Black Live Matter protesting, it was not robberies plus burning like LA occurred long time ago..
    Kenosha is not chaos and it was under controlled by government & local police.
    USA is not at war and of course! Kenosha was not war zone either that did not need a big militia group armed up to their teeth and Kyle is their member. Why did Kenosha have an illegal militia group exit and they are armed heavy to shoot unarmed peaceful protesting people.
    Kyle was being a low rank member of militia, of course ! He had chain of command that their members received order from highest level that night.
    Please investigating and finding out who was militia leader who gave order for Kyle to shoot on that night. Without order from militia chain of command, Kyle never dare to shoot in cold blood.
    Only Kyle were a kid in the bunch of militia and his leaders on that night knew Kyle who shot and killed people without death penalty because he is teenager and Kyle's (adult) leaders were very coward dare not shooting people but adult leaders incited a teenager to do their dirty work .
    Why he has plastic gloves on his hands? For what's purposes for eh? His own mentality told himself without his own finger print on the gun that meant him innocent eh? HIs killing on purposes.
    Look at shooting on his victims very close range is not self defense but executed victims by purposed.
    His face's eyes also showed him some kind of mental disorder.
    I want to write more but so disappointing him seemly inhuman. This Kyle was supposed to be a North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, then imaginably what will be happened for the world eh?

  29. Violence only brings violence. Anybody with clean records can buy semi auto AK47 for $500 and there are more protesters than so called anti protesters. Bring in your weapons is asking for trouble. As long as demonstration is peaceful then let them exhaust their energy out. But bring in few weapons is not going to stop protesters if they decided to start a war with the government. Let democratic system do it's work who becomes next president and what need to be done so everybody can live in peaceful environment. Only want to see weapons pulled out if demonstration becomes violent and start destroying business. Showing weapons before only encourages other side to bring their weapons and make yourself a target. During the war, it's who see first win. Not what kind of weapons you have thus showing weapons just making you easy target with their hidden weapons.
