If you are interested in getting into the AR 15 or just want another one…. This video shows the basics of a parts kit, from PSA, and a couple lower receiver options. I do recommend the AR 15, and I think the 5.56 is a good caliber to start with.

  1. I got in trouble from my mom because I made fun of our friends AR15 because it was smaller than ours 😂 that’s the most American way to get in trouble from your parents. Their friend came over to eat dinner and showed his AR15. I quickly headed to my room to grab mine and compared mine to his and made fun of him for having a small one 😂 I’m 14 btw, I ain’t no man living with his parents still

  2. Damn .. 11 months later and this kit is now $549.99. This kit doesn't come with a magazine or sight either. So once you get those and the lower you could've got a completed ruger 556 or m&p sport 2. Also I'm seeing Anderson stripped lowers for $80 now, they used to be $40.

  3. I want to thank you for posting this video. I am new to the AR platform and picked up a similar kit from PSA. I couldn't tell what needed to be built and what came preassembled and the response I have received online to my questions has been lukewarm but understandable. You cleared up ALOT of my questions and I thank you.

  4. Im debating weather to build off of a PSA kit for my 2nd rifle, or just buy and upper and a lower and slap them together… It seems that building the one im looking at would save me like 50 dollars, but is it worth it? Is it hard to do (ive never build one before) And how much are the the tools I'll need? sorry for all the questions, still fairly a noob

  5. Great video
I just had a question PSA is overwhelmed and I can’t get an answer from them. Do you know if all their kits can be pinned with the Mean MA mag pinning kit? I live in New York and AR’s have to have a 10 mag pinned. I don’t want to purchase one of there kits and then I can’t pin the magazine

  6. Outstanding presentation sir! I enjoyed putting my PA – 15 together and have become proficient at shooting it also. They are soft shooting and very reliable in my book. There is a sort of bonding that happens when you learn so much about these weapons by doing it yourself. Its not for everyone but I have been very impressed with this platform through the years. Watching recent video has also shown this to be an ideal home defense firearm without extreme over penatration issues! Society has really beat this platform up for no good reason. Why is it used by ALL our agencies in building clearing tasks? Seek the truth and the truth will set you free people!

  7. I have been eyeing a lot of the psa kits. I need to go up to my range and shoot some of theirs and figure out what I really want. I’m not sure if I want a full rifle or carbine pistol. I feel like I could still hit a decent range with a short barrel. You have any input on a sbr compared to full 16”? I can shoot a full auto sbr at the range I go to but of course I’m gonna think it’s great just from the excitement of automatic.

  8. Wow, what an awesome deal! The last AR I built was about 26 years ago, nothing was assembled, even the key on the BCG. Cost of the kit was $150.00 more. By the way, gas was about $1.00 a gallon then to give you an idea what a good deal this is now. What a great time for you young guys to be alive!

  9. Your not building an AR you Are assembling the upper is already assembled your just putting parts in a stripped lower lol pay the extra cash and go mid- length gas system over the carbine you won’t be disapointed

  10. Right now, on the PSA Website, you can get a complete M4 upper with charging handle and BCG for $219 with free shipping and a complete lower for $129 with free shipping. No building required and same price as the build kit and a stripped lower receiver, but you get free shipping with the compete upper and lower. Much better deal.

  11. A "newish follower," I just wanted to say "good intro" for people who want to build their own ARs! Very nice explanations and it's been some 25 yrs since I've done that! Good job and gonna tell even more about your channel, brother, as have!✌

  12. I shoot my PSAs more often than my Colt LE6920. The recoil impulses on my 20 inch and 16 inch is less "twangy" if that makes any sense (I'm not sure if it does). Regular Guy Training shot 15,000 rounds in 3 months through a chf psa and killed it! He says he shot the barrel out of it. I'll never shoot that much, I cant afford ammo as much as I shoot now!

  13. Ive put several of their parts kits together, they have run absolutely flawlessly, pay attention to the details, locktite and rock set are your friend. PSA also has deals on pistols, ammo, etc. sign up for the notifications, you will find many a bargain.

  14. I have three PSA upper kits…. love all of them and they shoot accurately and reliably. For the price you cannot go wrong. PSA also has four store locations 1) Columbia, SC 2)Mount Pleasant, SC 3)Greenville, SC 4)Ridgeland, SC. Stores have very good selection and prices on everything!!!!

  15. Nice Kit.

Looking to to pull the trigger on a complete 11.5 upper for my Aero Precision Lower.

Almost got snake charmed into buy from Delta Team Tactical.

    They have crazy prices.

But the reviews are "no surprise" bad.

    Not PSA tho.

Always read and see good things.
