  1. I’ll still still with the TLR1-HL
ALL THE LUMENS BABY! (Jk candela gang) red dot washing out is non issue since I’d rather have it at a constant brightness at say 7-8 than have to worry about changing it

  2. I don’t understand why people like to hang all kinds of stuff off their guns. Lights cameras red dots… I just don’t want any of that stuff. Iron sights. Why lights? I have night lights all over the house, I know where my light switches are. I just don’t get it.

  3. How about using that 7A switch as a “gas pedal”?? Like Agency Arms grinds out a space for your support thumb to mitigate recoil. Wish the TLR1-HL rocker could have a reduced travel mod…home position 9-o’clock and full travel is down to 7-o’clock. Add more resistance and limit the travel to 8-o’clock.

  4. Nice analysis. But if you don’t run a PEQ-15 on your Glock, you ain’t tactical. Gotta work on your turtle stance, too.

On a serious note, not sure about that intro sequence. I think I saw the edge of the precious, and there’s not enough soy latte in the world to make me forget.

  5. The Henry spark for TLR7 is shorter. I also find the TLR-1 holster more comfortable but that’s solely due to length of holster. If he lengthened then -7 holster it would fit me better. Regardless Henry makes some of the best AIWB holsters out there.

  6. I have a "roland special" for LARPing purposes, its fun, but my carry is a 26 frame, 19 slide with ameriglo idots. might look into the tungsten guide rod though.

  7. I personally find that the Inforce APLC, which is a similar size to the TLR7, handles recoil about as well as my TLR 1, if not better. I believe the reason why is because if the gun is too unbalanced in the front, usually just with polymer guns, then you'll have to use wrist muscles to hold the pistol up while shooting, and those wrist muscles actually go in the same direction as the felt recoil. But the APLC doesn't cause this effect because it's flush with the gun. It's only 2 ounces but it's exactly where you'd want it.
Update: my Inforce APLC stopped working on me after minimal use, but their customer service was good with sending me a brand new one after I sent them my broken one. I think it's a newer generation of the APLC as well, as it seems much brighter.

  8. I have a SL TRL-1 HL for my 5” M&P 2.0 and a killer and expensive Safariland holster for it. Too bad I swapped out my factory sights to a Dawson Blacked our rear and fiber front because it’s gonna take a Dremel with a very long bit to make it fit now!!!!! Lol I’m an idiot I know but I was competing with that gun at the time (without the light of course) and I REALLY needed that fiber front at the time. Using a Shadow2 now but still want to keep that fiber on it!!!! I much prefer the TRL-1 HL BY THE WAY!

  9. That intro had me laughing my ass off. I think this is the first video I've ever seen discussing this particular merit of weaponlights, something I've often thought about ever since the first time I mounted up a TLR-1HL to my Beretta 92A1 and went to the range and shot better than I ever had. It does put the extra weight VERY close to where the muzzle is wanting to climb.
