One advantage of the target turrets is that they can be reset to zero, so I have mine zeroed for .223 but can quickly adjust for using my .22LR converter.

Pro tip for fixed parallax:
Unless using the extreme ends of a BDC or Christmas tree, a rear "lens reducer" aperture made from a chamfered 1/8" hole aids alignment.
For a shorter focal distance, say to dryfire at 50ft, drill a hole in the center of an opaque front cap.
