Often when someone says 308 Winchester, they think of a precision rifle vs battle rifle. Well in today’s video we are going to be talking about the exact opposite, a lightweight 308 AR 10 Pistol. The impetus of this video is to start a series working toward the ultimate Short Barrel 308 but we are going to start out slow and do a review of the base gun before we get crazy. To that end we are starting with a Cmmg mk3 12.5 308 ar pistol. Ar rifles in 308 caliber tend to be less popular because of their expense, but also the AR 15 compared to the ar 10 is much lighter. However to step up to the heavier caliber this is certainly required.

Cannot wait for you to get this weapon sorted out. Functioning perfectly suppressed… it’s on the top of my to get list. Thank you!
I have one of these. Can someone please tell me what bolt tuning kit he is using
Can you list the bolt tuning kit and weight you used. Id love to recreate what you have exactly.
Just order this kit for my CMMG MK3 Ar 10 pistol! What weight did you use?
2:10 the double feed stovepipe wombo combo lmao
Heavy bullets, slow powders, short barrel. Why? You'd probably better ft/lbs with a 556
Not functioning properly suppressed with factory gas system? Hmmm….
Checkout the Superlative Arms adjustable gas block.
How does it sound suppressed? Have you tried any subsonic ammo in it yet?
I’ve been running a POF P308 w a 14.5 for a few years eats everything and super dependable accurate my go to for most situations
Semper Fi
Would a heavier buffer be more beneficial and cost effective before an adjustable gas block? Because the slow mo ejection pattern still looks like it's on the verge of being over gassed.
Please VSO do a video on the gas port size vs barrel length I spent a lot of money on a Krieger 20” mM110 profile barrel and I can’t get it to lock back on last round fired I have a Brownell’s action spring in it that I had to remove coils from 5 coils to be exact just to get it to cycle but even after removing 5 coils it still will not lock back on last round fired every other part on the rifle is high dollar so it would be nice to take it to the local gun club
Look REAL charms for your firearms at @t
Seeing you shoot .308 semi auto makes me wanna go to the range and shoot my suppressed PSA AR-10 with Superlative Arms adjustable gas block! Hard hitting but smooth shooter!! Love it!!
Looks like some of the same issues I had with my AR 308. A bolt change fixed mine though
6.5 all the things!
POS
Why do you tempt me like this? This thing is going to be gnarly when you get it dialed in.
FIREBALL
is the woman's name sam?
I love how y’all left the outtake in the beginning
Gas port is too big? Or 308 DI ARs just can’t be that short?
Any new shooting video I see now, I wonder where they got all that ammo.
