Heavier is Better || Short 308 (Part 2)

Often when someone says 308 Winchester, they think of a precision rifle vs battle rifle. Well in today’s video we are going to be talking about the exact opposite, a lightweight 308 AR 10 Pistol. The impetus of this video is to start a series working toward the ultimate Short Barrel 308 but we are going to start out slow and do a review of the base gun before we get crazy. To that end we are starting with a Cmmg mk3 12.5 308 ar pistol. Ar rifles in 308 caliber tend to be less popular because of their expense, but also the AR 15 compared to the ar 10 is much lighter. However to step up to the heavier caliber this is certainly required.

  1. Please VSO do a video on the gas port size vs barrel length I spent a lot of money on a Krieger 20” mM110 profile barrel and I can’t get it to lock back on last round fired I have a Brownell’s action spring in it that I had to remove coils from 5 coils to be exact just to get it to cycle but even after removing 5 coils it still will not lock back on last round fired every other part on the rifle is high dollar so it would be nice to take it to the local gun club

  2. Seeing you shoot .308 semi auto makes me wanna go to the range and shoot my suppressed PSA AR-10 with Superlative Arms adjustable gas block! Hard hitting but smooth shooter!! Love it!!
