You’re very wrong. I bought this “sport rifle”from academy and out the box it was accurate to 100yds.dead center. I added a couple things to it and shoot 2-300yds dead center with a half inch group. I got it for $649,out the box. Great rifle for the price, and for SHTF,I’d get a couple. Always can ad what ever you want. Good upper and lower.
This is my first AR and have had it since 2016. Never had any issues with it and have left it stock so far other than putting an Eotech and a Viking Tactical sling on it. I don’t remember if I shot it with the red dot that came with it. Building an Aero Precision M5 in 308 now and am thinking of building another AR in the sorta near future. I’ve enjoyed this gun quite a bit.
My bushmaster ORC has been upgraded with magpul moe furniture, wearing a compensator & consistently gets me 1/4 moa w/ 55gr hornady M193 @100yrds with a vortex spitfire 3x.
Got one on sale almost 3 years ago for 350 USD. It’s a good starter for people to learn the basics. My complaints would be the gas system and lack of options for adding sights up front. I also replaces the red dot with a holosun. So for under 500 USD someone can go learn from the basics and then decide what you want in the future.
Melonite treated, chrome-moly barrel THE BARREL IS NOT CHROMED LINED
just get a xm-15 patrol carbine with 3 xtra p-mags and a hard case for 750bux,much heavier barrel profile,m16 BCG with chrome lined carrier with unscratchable melonite?finish.it still wobbles and has shitty plastic stock but never has failed me and likes cleaning after every shooting session.i use liquid graphite for the moving parts inside the weapon carefully as a test.it dont run when hot because it dries onto the metal.good video.
I think my Bushmaster is just as reliable and durable as my other three “higher tier” ARs (Colt, DD, and a “Frankenstein” DD barrel/Umbrella Corporation BCG and upper/lower receivers). Fired 3000 plus rounds through it so far. It gets tossed around, has been submerged in a creek, and has been through a bunch of mag dumps. I am using the same factory barrel and BCG. Only changed gas block, hand guard, pistol grip, buffer tube/spring and stock.
I have this AR with OD green Magpul furniture, SRC bolt and a habu falcon 37 charging handle.
Get your feet wet AR
could you hunt for coyote with this
Can you add a front sight post on it?
I really like the Bushmaster. Best bang for the buck imo. But in your opinion, which ARs would you consider more top tier?
hi, what the price of this model in canada ? i want buy it this spring.
Did you say a “Truck Gun” or “Trunk Gun” and what do you mean??
Just found your channel and subbed. Nice work! Keep ‘em coming.
I own one and they are great rifles. I would use it for any situation. I paid about 400 for mine. I would definitely trust my life to this firearm.
Very good detailed honest review. This was my first AR15 and I've got a few thousand rounds through it now and it still runs great. I made some simple cheap upgrades that made the rifle go from good to great. Your right definitely wanna change out the red dot sight. In my second stage of upgrades i replaces my forward grip with a bipod and my RDS with a scope and it works great at 100 plus yards, i also added 45 degree offset back up iron sights. Definitely a great entry level AR and at a great price. If your interested in checking out the upgrades and add ons i did here's the links to the 2 videos i made about them. A new handgaurd made a huge difference in the ability to customize.
