So he messes up the scope because he was in too much of hurry the first time and didn't use a torque wrench, and then gives the scope a bad review. What a tool.
WTH you do not need to clean your rifle with soapy water and a bucket. Seen a lot of pros clean there AR never seen that. Over kill

why no mount included? All my vortex red dots come with 2 mounts in the box.
The Leupold is more clear because it's a crossfire your comparing it to. The diamondback isn't that much more but much better glass I think.
250 to 299 is a 19.6% increase. Is that really a "little bit of increase"?
If his rifle is an Anderson treated with rf-85 he can literally drop it in soapy water and it's clean

Just ordered this scope for my CZ 455 lux (.22wmr) carry/hunting rifle. That red dot will come in handy.

So you over tightened the screws breaking the scope then submerged it in a dirty mop bucket, then wonder why it's fogging up?
Has anyone put this on a AK-47? How does it do at 300yds?
SCOPRO is the maker for the marketing company Vortex. Cheap Philippine scopes, cost $50 to make a $1000 retail Vortex scope. Junk won't hold zero and lens coatings are virtually non existent. Don't fall for the hype, Vortex pushes their stuff hard, they have to, they fill the first pages of your computer with retail so you don't see the true reviews showing their stuff is not nearly as good as a Bushnell. Vortex warranty, sure you will be using it a lot and be months without your scope, have fun!
Same issue I had with my vortex. After 4 mags something came loose and had to go to iron sites. Vortex did stand by their word and replaced it with no question. 👍Thank you Vortex.

Wanting to buy a crossfire 2 but to many peoples report issues and yes it has lifetime warranty. But this rewiew scared me. And not living in usa i dont belive it will work as smooth to send it in if it breaks.
the Leo doesn't have an illuminated reticle… that's why it's lighter. with the vortex you are getting a magnified red dot.
I have a Hi-lux (Leatherwood) CMR 1-4×24 on my AR. Never had an issue with it and I and many others would rate the clarity of the glass just as good as the much higher end scopes and the Reticle is actually etched onto the glass. When I bought my HI-Lux I was actually thinking about getting the Vortex Crossfire 1-4. But ended up with the Hi-Lux. Very glad I did. Anyway this was a very good review of the Vortex.
Vortex has a very generous military discount, which brings the Crossfire down to nearly half the price of the Leupold, which also doesn't have as many features (like the resettable turrets) as the vortex. So that's something to consider for those qualified. 😉

I had the same experience with that thing got loosen up and blocking the view.
So you over torque the rings effectively breaking the scope. Then you submerge it in a dirty mop bucket, power wash it with a hose and then don't understand why the glass came loose and it's now fogging?
