My rail vise is a very good tool to help you work on your AR type weapons and as you can see my PS90 also fits in it. You can create a stock type out of wood or other for your pistols or other weapons and use it to fit into the vise. My mistake I said it had a wood platform but it is aluminum. There was an earlier version made of wood.
It helps by stabalizing the AR or other weapon and you can also mount optics, scopes, etc and work on them as well.
