I also have the rm05g 9 moa with the green dot, but to answer your question yes the light will wash out the DOT I am currently running the RMO4 Amber dot 7 MOA in this video and the light washes out the dot. But if you have tall suppressor sight you’ll see them clearly.
I'm debating buying a TLR-1 HL. My only concern is that I'm running a RM05 with the 9moa amber dot. Will the light be too bright that it interferes with the RMR? Have you experienced any issues like that?
Yes, but only with the TLR 1HL. It fits ok with my older TLR 1 model.
