  1. I have two exps two zero green and one g thirty three. While I love the reticle EOtech are very over priced for the technology they use. The vortex uh one Huey they go for three fifty on sale not four thirty on up and the Holosun five twelve variants which exclude the reticle offer motion activation to shut off when senses no movement for fifteen minutes and auto shut off is measured in minutes not hours go for three hundred on up. As the exps series and its open window allows for debris to get in your fov ss well as lacks the enhanced water proofing that an enclosed design offers. Their competitors offer Almost an identical reticle at a third or greater discount with more desirable features leaving Eotech behind the curve presently. Given the hs five twelve series also offer an added solar feature further enhance the battery life which is a minimum of twenty thousand hours to fifty thousand hours of battery life. This tells the the measly six hundred hours Eotech offers is not due to it being cost prohibitive but out of lazyness given they have not updated their product to remain competitive. But instead sit on their hands and live off their name due to their history of having military contacts. Once Holosun offers their premium titanium five twelve with green reticle I’d gladly pay four fifty to five fifty for that one which I’ll replace ATLEAST one of my two with and see how it holds up with the gold of eventually moving away from Eotech unless they step up their game. So while I do really like the EoTech exps series and agree with your statement that it’s likley the fastest reticle for close target acquisition.

Both Eotech and Aimpoint both are severly lacking in what they offer for what you pay. As I’d love an circle for reticle in green in s Comp m five. As had I not got a smoking desk on a t two snd comp m five I wouldn’t have spent what they normally go for. Only mentioning the fact I own these other items to show I’m not just criticizing something bc I cannot afford it but criticizing them in the hope of enough people do so they they will I’m turn adapt to the needs of the current consumer market for both civilian snd military snd Leo as again and excluded halo site with two to five years battery life or dm t two comp m five with a circle dot reticle in red or green would be an ideal optics that would in turn actually offer an equal value to the consumer given what they overcharge for these snd Aimpoints.
