  1. I love my gas buster charging handle. People say all the time there overrated but there really not no other charging handle has the re direction port like the PRI does I bought them for all my rifles I run suppressed I loved them so much

  2. Realistically, the real use is to make hearing safe… Its still quite loud though. In home defense, its good to know that you wont be deafened after you take a shot; anyone whose ever shot one indoors knows what I'm talking about (my ears are still ringing !). in the woods hunting hogs, its good to be able to hear what going on around you.

  3. Got a question I was debating someone on silencers and he said you wont hear an ar15 with a silencer on and I said you can and showed then a few videos on it, he said those are not silencers those are suppressors there not the same. I always thought they were one in the same suppressor is just the industry name am I worng?

  4. Great vid. Admit I'm new to the suppressor game but have a question. Doesn't the 7.62 silencer leave too much space for 5.56 gas/noise escape? As you say it's hard to tell with the mic's (and phone speakers) but I feel like I've heard greater suppression with properly spec'd 5.56 cans.

  5. with suppressors on the verge of becoming easier to purchase there will be a lot of people with questions. you make a good point about barrel length but you should have explained why a little more. some people don't realize that there are nominal lengths for different cartridges. A 5.56 powder charge takes about 20" to completely burn. if your using shorter than 20" you're losing some velocity and increasing volume. The lose is quite steady until 11" after which the loss becomes even more dramatic. likewise, after 20" velocity gains start to subside and at some point will become negligible.
in comparison, a 300 Weatherby likes a 26" barrel whereas a 300 blackout doesn't really need much more than 9".

  6. Awesome to find your channel. I saw your SAM7SF review on gunscom (and as a fellow SAM7SF lover enjoyed it) a long time ago and did not realize you had your own channel. Keep up the videos!

  7. thanks for this. so many people think a suppressor means it's perfectly safe to shoot supersonics without hearing protection. the only hearing safe are subsonics.

@2:33 and @3:26 great illustration of heat mirage off the suppressor.

  8. I would recommend using a adjustable gas block if you are suppressing. The reason why you get "gas in your face" is due to the increasing volume of gas stored in the barrel as a result of adding a suppressor. Bolt locking time must be increased in two ways. One, using the gas block to restrict gas flow in both volume and in pressure. Second, using a stronger buffer spring to hold the bolt locked for a longer period of time to give enough time to depressurize the barrel. Ideally you would use a 2 inch diameter suppressor with more expansion volume, but not everybody can put down more $$ on that.
