If you carry a gun for personal defense, you need to be protected from lawsuits or criminal charges should you need to use your firearm defensively. I recommend USCCA:

Brownells has introduced the Retro Colt scope to their increasing line-up of retro firearms and accessories. The Brownells Colt scope is a perfect reproduction, right down to the fact it’s made by the same Japanese company that made them for Colt in the 1970’s. The price can’t be beat. If you’re a clone builder, now you have an option beside trying to find a scarce original Colt scope.

  1. Tim, I've been trying to contact you for some time now. Somebody is using your photo's, information, family photos etc in order to scam middle-aged women for money. My mother is a victim right now and she's not listening to anything we tell her. So please mate, I need you to help us because there are thousands of woman who believe you're are in relationships with them. We need to put an end to all this. Send me your e-mail please.

  2. I thought you might like to see my Ultralux 4 X 20 scope attached to my ban era Bushmaster A2. I picked it up new 25 or more years ago at a local Gun Show. I think it was less then $30 and is no doubt Japanese or Chinese. It appears to be an exact duplicate to your colt (including the large screw on the left side) that were then selling for $200+ dollars and I was just unwilling to put that much money into it. One concern is that the tube is resting on the rear sight as I have it mounted.

Sorry I can't find any way to send pictures. I know that Colt offered a riser for the Stock which would bring your head inline with the scope.

Thanks much! Keep up your great videos.

  3. Colt has shit on American gun owners more times than most politicians. Yet idiots drool on themselves to spend money with them…

Never understood why anyone would want to own any firearm with Colt stamped on it.

  4. My first gun was an original M16A1 but I wanted a scope. Tried some Chinese knock off but they were complete garbage (even had one where the mount became completely loose when shooting).

I don't have the means to get such an expensive scope like the Colt 4×20. But Brownells one seems like an excellent deal for what it is and since that I want to keep it kinda close to the original look. Anyway putting a rail and any other kind of optic is kinda uncomfortable for prone shooting.

Thanks for pointing out differences. I will definitely get one of these when they will be available in my country.

  5. I'll just be straight forward. Colt can kiss my starfish, and warm my salami with both hands.

Colt lost my business in 1992.

Some of you younger people may not be aware, why they lost my business.

    Go find out for yourself

  6. Maxim defence released a pdx pistol was wondering if you can use binary triggers in it?? it looks a little diff then a normal ar pistol.. I seen the nfa nut kicker and I like that trigger

  7. I do remember seeing a rare photo of a soldier using the Colt Scope in Vietnam or Cambodia Circa 1970 or 71 mounted on his M16A1. He was not a recon type soldier because he and his buddy next to him wore FLAK jackets and steel pots with camo covers with helmet bands. These 2 troopers were possibly from the 11 Armored Cavalry.
