This video covers my choice for optics on tactical shotguns. I prefer a good solid micro reflex sight over anything else and here is why.

  1. I'll sub if you tell me what the name of the after market frame mount i see that wraps around the body of the gun and uses the pins? For mounting?? I'm not sure what im seeing on your shotgun, but i like it!

  2. I considered it on my M4 Benelli but decided I'd rather preserve my over the top quickness in reloads with the bolt locked back when it's run empty.  Ideal would be to simply strategically continue to top it off and never run her dry and go ahead and mount the reflex sight and not worry about it but that trade off doesn't seem to be worth it.  The included ghost ring is very quick on target acquisition…very accurate and the ability to sight it in at 50-100yds with relatively small groups.  The patterning of the buckshot is then that much more on target if the slugs are grouping well when sighting in.

  3. shotguns are meant to be iron or my favorite ghost rings. If you need a optics to shoot at 25 feet? Maybe you need to go back to the fundamentals here. I understand the need with pistols but seriously for a shotgun?? Might you be just showing off here? Maybe just a bit??
