  1. I only use WD-40 when cutting / drilling / tapping aluminum, considerably cheaper at $22/gallon vs $18/pint, and does at least as good a job as the Tap Magic Aluminum fluid. This is a tip I learned from 3 different Tool and Die shops I've done work in. All 3 would use regular Tap Magic for drilling / tapping steel, but switch to WD-40 when cutting aluminum, and one of the shops had the Tap Magic Aluminum fluid.

  2. Suggestions on Tooling: There are many Mfg's of Drills and End Mills for Aluminum (ONLY) better cutting and finish. Guhring, SKF, Cleveland, ISCAR ,Sandvik and MORE.Suggest Carbide way longer life better finish. Also See Rex Cut for Die Grinding ( POLISHING & De-burring) Aluminum and Stainless
