you should look into a deep cycle battery so you can charge the smalls without running a generator.
mAh = milliamp hours, a unit for measuring how much energy is stored in the battery. In slang, you'll hear it pronounced like the expression "ah," just with a "m" added in front.
I would be interested to know if the internal charger has a negative impact on the service life of the battery. I have never heard anyone talk about that, but I bet that the ultimate answer is that the difference is negligible.
That is a pretty cool battery. I am going to have to pick up a few of them to keep in the flashlights for the cars. I agree on needing a flashlight on your person. I use my baby keychain maglite all the time. Phones do not count as flashlights. Good luck trying to make an emergency call and using it as a flashlight at the same time.

I love rechargeable 18650s and they last way longer then AAs or AAAs Plus its Luthium over Alkaline or NiMH. I have a few Wowtac headlamps that came with those batteries with that kind of charger built it. Good information brother!
XTAR or Tenergy , however I don't use rechargeables in any of my weapon lights.
