Mike, what’s your opinion on 5.5 barrel on maxim pdx/rattler. Would that do enough to penetrate body armor and create temp>perm wound cavity?

Ive built 3 from 80% lowers. My first still makes Daniel defunks look like bushmaster at a third the cost.. . Overpriced Gucci guns. That law tactical is likely to end up on one of them. As for ammo. I reload most of what i shoot and all guns i have have their own recipe.

I've got the solution for your spinning SBA4 pistol brace problem. Check out motorcycle handgrip glue. Not permanent, if you need to get it off the extension tube stick an ice pick between the 2 to break the seal. Works like a charm… Great review, would love to see how accuracy compares with the Sig 1:5 twist Rattler

Solgw definitely puts a flare on their magwell. Biggest flare on any of my forged lowers. But, as you know, they kinda have a knack for doing things correctly.

I have a .300 BLK Out pistol with a 10.5 barrel. The other day I was pegging a 6 inch plate at 300 yards, then I was consistently hitting in a 2 inch x ring at 100 yards. I was using PRVI Partisan 125gr with a BCA heavy profile 1/8 twist.

What do you NEED that for? Sports? Hunting?

My Aero Precision 10.5 dominates this pistol in accuracy and is just as legit and trustworthy in life or death situations… change my mind.

I swear the internet is ridiculous 2” at 100 yards is never bad. Now that Fiocchi group…. that was disappointing. Most dudes watching YouTube would be lucky if they could even shoot a 2” group regardless if the rifle/ ammo combo could.

I never gave the plastic dust covers any thought.
Magazines are plastic.
My work guns are half plastic.
Holster is plastic.

Not down with the DD. Not your fault, but any company that comes out for restricting 2A can go pound sand.

Hate to say this, but my PSA 10.5 300BLK upper shoots 130gr Remington HTPs in about just over 1 MOA at 100 yards

What will it do that a $900 colt won't do?

Is there a rifle caliber available for the AR platform that is a) available in both subsonic and supersonic and b) noticeably more accurate than the 300 blackout and c) one which you would trust your life to/AND is useful for hunting?

I know this sounds like some internet mumbo jumbo but I had a 10.5” begarra 300b.o barrel and it would stack them in there. The 125 grain ppu bthp shot 1.25 all day at 100yds and would occasionally do better but very rarely worse. Even shot the 150gn magtech pretty good.

Really wish DD would not have supported FixNICS. I had a great impression of their brand before then.

Flared magwells are great for NFA engraving. And you don’t see it when a mag is inserted.

Most holes tend to loose some grip when you "quick attach and pull out" a thousand times.. just sayin..
