Here is a completed setup of a Mossberg AR-15 (MMR Tactical) with an EOTech 512, front forward grip and flashlight/strobe.
This is the 3rd Sight I have purchased. Mainly because I will not trust my or my family’s life to a sub-standard scope, or some Chinese POS scope. I feel it is best to use the same sight that is used by our Military and Law Enforcement.
I bought one from a friend about an year ago I have not had any problems with mine . I have seen all these reviews on the Mossberg mmr and none have a forward assets . the one I have does wonder if it was an upgrade from previous owner?

what is written on the barrel is it 223 rem or 5.56 1/9 ?
I've had my mmr for about 2 months now I like it. It's my first AR am still new to the platform so I have a lot to learn about ARs. I have a tactical light and a vertical foregrip from Daniel Defense and I will be adding a 2 point sling this week. I really like the iron sights it's very accurate so far my longest distance has been between 30-35 yards (estimated) and kept an 8in group. I know the grouping is not all that but am working on it. Any way looks awesome with the eotech. If you don't mind me asking, why don't you have back up iron sights incase your eotech goes down?

Yeah EOtech is great until it runs out of batteries halfway to baghdad. They are far too expensive to not have fiber optics.
That EOtech is mounted to far to the rear.

That's a cool setup. Mossberg rifles are great build rifles, accurate, reliable, and good prices so you dress them right.

Nice looking rifle! I have a MMR with a Vortex Strikefire, and a 3x magnifier, and grippod. and I love it. FYI, you should keep your finger off the trigger while handling it thoug
I think ill but an EoTech or AimPoint for my MMR soon. Can't decide which, though I'm leaning towards the EoTech
