  1. Fell in love with the AR15 pattern. Unfortunately I needed to wait for the 80's banned to be lifted. Banned lifted and I purchased parts to build my first AR. Since then my family have there own AR'S. 556, 762X39 are the current calibers. I will eventually will own legally an SBR and pistol. Future calibers 45, 9, 308 or similar round for hunting. Living in California and keeping my AR'S.

  2. Then why is America the only country with mass shooting problems . By this i mean frequent mass shooting problems . You honestly made really good points in this video , ones better than GOSH DAMN ITS MA RIGHT bs . But at the same time . If the shooters didn’t have guns in the first place , you wouldn’t need AR-15’s to defend yourself . You cant outrun a bullet but you can out run a knife . Aswell as knifes being easy to counter for trained law enforcement . Theres two sides to this debate , yours brought up in the video which are good solid points , and those of mine which show the bigger picture .

  3. i'm fine with ar15s, but honestly i dont see self defense as a good argument to owning an ar15.

-best self defense is situational awareness.
-a good guy carrying a gun is probably not going to be that helpful in a mass shooting. in el paso, most likely a good proportion of the crowd was carrying (if we play on texas sterotypes)
-the dayton shooter was stopped by police with handguns and shotguns (although if they had an ar15, might have been easier? though rapid and decisive response seems more important than the type of weapon)

-in most firearm self defense scenarios, handguns are more likely to be accessible, considering the ar15 would probably be left in your vehicle
-if you were casually carrying around an ar15, most likely no one would mess with you, until some stranger calls the cops on you. then it becomes an awkward conversation.

  4. 1st amendment covers modern tech so then does the 2nd. Really excellent point. Here in Australia you can’t purchase for the purpose of self defence. So of course you’re a sporting shooter. It’s been said (you even have to word discussions on the topic carefully) people would happily go to jail knowing they protected their family and they are alive, safe, and well. Don’t give an inch.

  5. people are allowed to have things that they dont NEED but WANT. no one NEEDS 707 hp cars but they can have them.
no one NEEDS multi million dollar mansions but they can have them.

  6. Why do I need an AR-15? Because I don't yet have one, because I want one, because they're awesomely fun rifles to have, because I love making my liberal family members pee themselves with the suggestion that I may purchase one in the not too distant future(lol), and because "Merica" that's why!

  7. cuz things that you need are usually boring and not fun. So they wanted to make something fun, that you both need and want! so you don't feel a mass of regret and buyer's remorse later when you find out it can't do most of the cool things you thought it could.

    Gun deaths

There are 30,000 gun related deaths per year by firearms, and this number is not disputed. The U.S. population is 324,059,091 as of June 22, 2016. Do the math: 0.0000925% of the population dies from gun related actions each year. Statistically speaking, this is insignificant! What is never told, however, is a breakdown of those 30,000 deaths, to put them in perspective as compared to other causes of death:

    • 65% of those deaths are by suicide, which would never be prevented by gun laws.

    • 15% are by law enforcement in the line of duty and justified.

    • 17% are through criminal activity, gang and drug related or mentally ill persons – better known as gun violence.

    • 3% are accidental discharge deaths.

So technically, "gun violence" is not 30,000 annually, but drops to 5,100. Still too many? Now lets look at how those deaths spanned across the nation.

    • 480 homicides (9.4%) were in Chicago

    • 344 homicides (6.7%) were in Baltimore

    • 333 homicides (6.5%) were in Detroit

    • 119 homicides (2.3%) were in Washington D.C. (a 54% increase over prior years)

So basically, 25% of all gun crime happens in just 4 cities. All 4 of those cities have strict gun laws, so it is not the lack of law that is the root cause.

This basically leaves 3,825 for the entire rest of the nation, or about 75 deaths per state. That is an average because some States have much higher rates than others. For example, California had 1,169 and Alabama had 1100.

Now, who has the strictest gun laws by far? California, of course, but understand, it is not guns causing this. It is a crime rate spawned by the number of criminal persons residing in those cities and states. So if all cities and states are not created equal, then there must be something other than the tool causing the gun deaths.

Are 5,100 deaths per year horrific? How about in comparison to other deaths? All death is sad and especially so when it is in the commission of a crime but that is the nature of crime. Robbery, death, rape, assault are all done by criminals. It is ludicrous to think that criminals will obey laws. That is why they are called criminals.

But what about other deaths each year?

    • 40,000+ die from a drug overdose–THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT!

    • 36,000 people die per year from the flu, far exceeding the criminal gun deaths.

    • 34,000 people die per year in traffic fatalities(exceeding gun deaths even if you include suicide).

    Now it gets good:

    • 200,000+ people die each year (and growing) from preventable medical errors. You are safer walking in the worst areas of Chicago than you are when you are in a hospital!

    • 710,000 people die per year from heart disease. It’s time to stop the double cheeseburgers! So what is the point? If the liberal loons and the anti-gun movement focused their attention on heart disease, even a 10% decrease in cardiac deaths would save twice the number of lives annually of all gun-related deaths (including suicide, law enforcement, etc.). A 10% reduction in medical errors would be 66% of the total number of gun deaths or 4 times the number of criminal homicides ……………. Simple, easily preventable 10% reductions! So you have to ask yourself, in the grand scheme of things, why the focus on guns? It's pretty simple:

Taking away guns gives control to governments. The founders of this nation knew that regardless of the form of government, those in power may become corrupt and seek to rule as the British did by trying to disarm the populace of the colonies. It is not difficult to understand that a disarmed populace is a controlled populace.

Thus, the second amendment was proudly and boldly included in the U.S. Constitution. It must be preserved at all costs. So the next time someone tries to tell you that gun control is about saving lives, look at these facts and remember these words from Noah Webster: "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed."

What ever happen to up hold the Oath of office to protect and up hold the CONSTITUTION of the USA….NOT MAKE YOUR OWN RULES/LAWS…

  9. Well said! The 2A doesn't just allow me to own guns someone else says I need, but it gives me the right to have what guns I want. I didn't need a revolver in .45-70… I wanted it. I didn't need an AR-10 in .300 Win Mag… I wanted it. The 2A gives me to right to choose my own guns. Not what some treehugger that never picked one up at all, much less fired one, tells me what they think I should have.

  10. The AR-15 is literally the most effective firearm available to the public. Anyone who says they don't need one for self defense has never been in a violent confrontation or in a gun fight.

  11. iam sorry iamma be rude alil tiny bit the true answer is that is: is because AR15 are the most over hyped yet the most over rated american gun yet mostly kinda the most useless rifle ever literally people buy it because its murican and its cheap to buy even tho any repeating rifle can do these stuff no problemo its more of an arrogance and pride argument that MUH AR15 AND MUH 223 IS BEST like plz 223 or 556 is just made for wounding and not killing and also AR15 got either beaten by other semi auto platform or got mastered by other non american companies but you get out shot by some r*tarded /k/ fanboy kid with a 10mm hi point or a fucking fudd with his bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06 or lever action chambered in 30-30 or some european larper or slavaboo who have a european style gun or a standard ak platform rifle you seriously dont need an AR15 you just need a good repeating rifle mostly a semi automatic shit that you simple americunt brain can get used to

  12. Starting about 1945, the communist wanted to take over the USA. They had a lot of their operatives in our government during WW2 and long after. https://us.macmillan.com/excerpt?isbn=9781250055811
Even James Comey and Obama were Young Pioneers (communists)..
Of course there are many greedy thugs who just pretend to be communist, but they are really just criminals that want to control and rob you.
Anyways, my point is: Communist or other criminals have never had the guts to attempt to take over the USA, because the US population has millions of guns.. So, a take-over is pretty much impossible.

Obama's Crossfire Hurricane conspiracy was not successful, but it's still on-going. They may yet dispose of Trump.

The only good thing that came out of 3 years of Crossfire Hurricane is the lessons that has been learned by millions of Americans. That lesson is: Evil is alive and well inside the US government. These 'progressives' (or whatever their name-of-the-week is now) are the enemy of freedom loving Americans. Lastly, Americans should never give up their right to self-defense!

Why would anyone need an AR15 rifle in 2025? Because there is a very good chance we shall see Crossfire Hurricane 2.0 when the 'progressives' can't win the White House. There doesn't seem to be any limit on what they will do to harm America..

  13. New Yorkers are better of without the NYPD who miss more shots on criminals and hit more Civilian's. Lol these politicians are a joke who only care for votes. Great video and thanks for sharing your knowledge with all us Americans who also love and do not fear dying a free man/woman.
