I used the tan JB weld and was able to remove ALL of the excess. I caught this rail issue before I shot my Bushy. It was OK as far as accuracy. I ended up massively rebuilding the whole rifle with an Adams Arms piston kit, Daniel Defense pencil barrel (mid gas 1:7) and a long Samson EVO rail. It rocked after that. I really love the light weight, reliability and accuracy. 1000plus rounds before any cleaning. Wipe with a rag basically.
Idk but on the carbon 15 I fired I shot about 175 rounds at one hundred yards with federal premium and monarch and I never had this issue you're rifle may just be defective.
I have a carbon-15 as well and I attributed the inaccuracy to the same problem, but instead of running the rifle over with my car I replaced the forward grip with a http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/ARR-609. The red dot does sit on the quad rail which looks funny but it 100% takes care of the accuracy issue, its solid as a rock, just looks a little off.
Thank you sir for your reply i grew up with old dove tail and peep sites so optics are new but i would like something with accessories on it budget really isn't much of a problem
it would depend on your budget and if you desire alot of accessories or would keep it factory. if you want something basic, a bushmaster or dpms or something similar for around 1000 bucks plus the optic would be good, but if you want to customize it, then it might be cheaper to find one already with the accessories you want for less in the long run. brand names only mean so much, focus more on features and accessories. Dont go with a polymer receiver, it's not worth the savings. Hope this helps.

People may not have a couple more hundred dollars.. they can use it for ammo.. and if it's a gen 2 the carbon fiber is way better than the gen 1
