I planned on doing this video for a while, I just needed to test this setup enough to believe that it didn’t suck.

Bare minimum. Haha thatโs the 2 top tier brands besides geissele.
What the fuck is everyone hanging out down range of the firing line!? at 1:00
๐don't seem to have the ability to make the shorter barrels work. Hummm others do???
The hybrid sv system blows this config
Flaming pig is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.
Arenโt we glad that there are better arm braces out there than this squishy boat anchor Sig brace? At the current time every brace is better than the Sig brace. Now you canโt give those things away.
What rail length is that and also would you still recomend a quad rail vs m-lok for weight? And why not a mid length gas tube for smoother recoil?
Great video. Do you have one that focuses on your night vision set up?
I would also like to see a video about dealing with an AR that is soaked, such as while crossing a river.
Whereโs your tie downs?
I just got a 10.5 ar and I'm considering a strike industries comp with the additional oppressor blast can that quick attaches
The atf needs to be abolished and the NFA needs to be burned
Really!….great point about not being the asshole with a loud muzzle bake.
Appreciate your candor toward mil spec/ not million dollar parts. Too many gucci "operators".
It works? Hit the field!
I feel like at an outside range that an muzzle brake is ok. It's no louder than a magnum handgun. No? At an indoor range, I agree with you. I won't shoot my braked ARs inside.
I didn't watch the video but I believe massive suction starts with the quad rail. Why make it fat? By all means free float and put rails where you need them. I actually own a quad rail that I got in trade and I want to chuck it in a lathe and wipe out all the rails in the center leaving only the end 6 slots, so it might be useful for something. Probably not worth the effort though.
Over 26", VFG is a go!
Over 26 inches with a 12.5 so vertical grip is ok
There is 4 major lower manufacturers and dpms is this one….LARย = Grizzly,ย Bushmasterย (L Prefix), Ameetech, (?)DPMS,ย CMMG, Double Star,ย Fulton, Spike'sย Tactical, Noveske (new). So same quality lower as noveske
Liked your video man. I have a mk18 upper on a PSA pistol lower and it shoots great as well! I havenโt taken it through a course yet but Iโm anxious to see how much better I perform compared to my 16โ rifle.
put a vertical grip. you meet the OAL req with a 12 inch barrel
Actually the acceptable Accuracy for an issue rifle is 4 MOA. They are to shoot 2 MOA from the factory but once they wear to the point of dropping past 4MOA the barrels are "supposed" to be changed.
You can put a foregrip on a 11.5 inch. It makes it a "firearm" not a sbr
Unless its 26 OAL now I'm glad they changed it
That DPMS lower came out of the same forge (Anchor Harvey) as a Daniel Defense lower. As long as the finish machining is to spec there is no quality difference in the forgings. There's only like 4 differnt forges that put out ALL raw forged recivers upper and lowers. It's just a matter of who finished it out. Aero finishes alot of the recivers for alot of OEMs out there too.
12.5 or 11.5 barrel?
So.. you guys in law enforcement or military? Looks like some fun stuff!
How do I stop my SB brace from rotating??
14:10 my man said โwhore opticโ ๐๐๐
A lower is a lower. True dat
before i look how many times did someone tell u that if ur oal is over 26" u can u can run a vert grip lol
Hey boss .What buffer and spring setup you have in this?
Dude I went into a coma and just woke up four years later and you are still freaking talking.
Crazy how far braces have come since that first one.
Poverty panther and poverty pony lowers work. I prefer aero but ive used andersen and dpms
Think I just found my next build
What flash light mount is that?
That intro was fucking adorable haha! Listen to the trumpet at 1:03 !! Pure cringe ๐
i have a pistol build im working on and im buying the best i can afford. my question is 11.5 or 12.5 and whats the most reliable setup i can run. i want my rifle to be smooth and im confused on the cleaning aspect and the upper parts abuse. id like this pistol to last as long as possible but id like the best reliability-longevity balance i can get.
Love your videos brother! If you wanted to put a vertical grip on it you could. ATF states that if you measure from the crown of the barrel to the end of the buffer tube and it's 26" u can aow weapon it with a vfg without registering status change. I have a 10.5" pistol with the KAK setup so I could put a vfg on it but I rock the magwell so often I never bothered putting anything on it yet.
WHAT IS THE TWIST RATE ON THAT BARREL? AND WHAT GRAIN WOLF ARE YOU USING?
What grip is that?
