  1. Cheap crap.
Spend on your optic what you spend on your rig . If expensive rig follow the 2/3 rd rule. Cheap crap fails . Might as well buy that stuff outa harbor freight . Pittsburg scopes here we come lol.

  2. CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY What all Americans really need to understand is: We the People, have the right to keep and bear arms anywhere and; there is no permit or regulation that can hinder that right. The Second Amendment is every American’s permit to keep and bear guns, whether such be open or concealed carry. Gun regulations, licenses and permits are illegal per the Supreme Court because they are unconstitutional acts. “An unconstitutional act is not a law; it imposes no duties; it is, in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed”. — Norton v. Shelby "An unconstitutional act is not a law; it binds no one”. — Huntington v. Worthen “An unconstitutional law is void, and is as no law. An offence created by it is not a crime.” — Ex parte Siebold The Supreme Court also ruled in Williams v. United States: “In expounding the Constitution of the United States, every word must have its due force and appropriate meaning; for it is evident from the whole instrument, that no word was unnecessarily used, or needlessly added….” This means the words, “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” are NOT unnecessary or needlessly added. In summary: the Second Amendment gives all citizens — in all states — the right to keep and bear arms without a license or permit. Licenses and permits are infringements — hindrances — of the highest law in the land AND governors and legislatures that seek to pass or enforce licenses or permits are technically criminals.

  3. I got a Firefield scope for my 300 blackout. It’s a barrage 1.5-5×32. Got it from OpticsPlanet for around $80 buck. One awesome scope for the budget minded like myself. Lighted red and green reticle. Plus it looks good on my 300 blackout. Nothing wrong with using a cheaper scope.

  4. I have a Monstrum Tactical 1-4×24 FFP in FDE on my AR. Mine holds zero even though I've beat it around a little while climbing in and out of tree stands. The FFP luminated reticle works great as a red dot at the 1 power.

  5. Like minded Patriots fighting for our rights, where?it's more like Wanna be Patriots letting state and federal government slowly take our rights and doing nothing to stop them!

  6. I think the $50- $100 optics still leave a bit to be desired but at less than $200 you have a lot of very good choices now that are as good as $800 -$1000 optics where 10 or 15 years ago and we don't even want to talk about how much you would have had to spend 30 years ago to get an optic with the clarity of a Primary Arms or Vortex $200 optic that was made in China. Not to say that UTG or Monstrum stuff isn't a great choice for tactical range guns since I figure they're going to take a beating anyway . PS $3200 for an Elcan is ridiculous unless the thing comes with an on call NAVY SEAL to make the hard shoots for you it's just overpriced jewelry for you weapon .

  7. Those utg quick detach rings are fantastic. I can pull my scope off and put it back on and retain zero. I think I paid 20-30 bucks for them, maybe less I don't feel like looking for the receipt at the moment.

  8. I have a UTG red dot I picked up for 70.00 and put it on my victory.22 for steel challenge and it works great. I see nothing wrong with going this route when money is tight. Yes I have really nice nikons on my hunting rifles and one AR but for my .17 I have a tasco fixed 4 power and I believe it cost me 20.00 dollars when I bought it and it works great. So yes I’m behind you 100% on budget optics.

  9. Under $100 for an optic is still in the "keep saving" category in my opinion. Especially for a magnified optic. This is assuming that it's a fighting rifle, not a hunting gun. Anything at Walmart will get you that deer at 75 yards.

  10. I was a soldier in US Army, I used a lot of scopes that I will never be able to afford as a civilian. My sweet spot on my budget is 200 to 400 dollars, Nikons, Vortex etc. I recently bought and used a True Glow 1x6x20mm AR style scope with .223 BDC knob and reticle, guys I love this scope I think it was in the 120 dollar range. Also have tried many UTG scope that I just straight out abused and the take it, but on the higher power UTG scope I don't like the tunnel effect, like looking sown a real long hallway, but still amazing scope for a budget. I am going to defiantly try few Monstrum scopes for sure.

  11. It's cool to hear somebody mention Monstrum Tactical as a viable value/reliable company. I bought a cantilever scope mount from Monstrum to mount a 3-9×40 to an AR.

That scope mount locks up tight and didn't require any kind of lapping or really any extra work whatsoever. After 1k+ rounds down the pipe, she still holds zero.

  12. I bought a Atibal AT-MCRD Pro Micro Red dot claimed to be a quality optic for around $100 bucks was everything but.. reticle Shuts off after a few shots , batteries drain without optic being actually activated on..just a terrible product.. just did the right thing and saved up for a trijicon best Acog best optic I’ve ever owned

  13. Though more than a $100, i have found Vortex to be outstanding for the money. Sparc red dot around $200. Strike Eagle 1×6 around $300 to $350. Outstanding performance.
