Great job, came back to your video for a refresher, used your informative video for my 1st build too, now building something new. thank your for this great video.
putting this stupid spring in is the only part i hate about ar builds. ive done 4 builds and i cut my thumb and used profanity each time at this stage. the fifth time (after finding this video) i got it on the second try. thanks buckets!!!!!
Remove the e-clip slide the pin back away from the barrel nut (carefully) replace the new cover and carefully replace the pin, spring and e-clip. Needle nose pilers are useful to replace the e-clip.
So if I wanted to change mine out, I would have to take out the barrel and barrel nut? Or is there another way to install it with taking out the barrel?

Are you a child or a woman?
I think it's against the gunsmiths cannon of ethics to say 'itty bitty' while engaged in smithing….jus' sayin' lol
Good job…thank you!
Been fighting this for a couple days, and your video helped me get this on. Thank you!

This video was very simple and helpful. Easy and to the points. Thanks a lot. Should make more videos like this.
Nomenclature is important, but the video is well done nonetheless.
FYI. It is an ejection port cover. Also, it is a C clip.
awesome. thanks
Perfect demonstration! Thank you, and you rock!

It's a C clip, not E

The spring does not fit in the middle of my ar 10 ?
Great video, thanks.
Easily the most annoying part of building an AR. I usually just buy one complete to avoid doing it.
Worked like a champ!! Thanks
Straightforward, to the point, no BS. Thanks. Gonna do it now.
Thanks for the straightforward video. I like your user name by the way, haha.
Thanks! Replaced mine and your video made it possible.
Well explained, couldn't have been more helpful…thank you
Thanks for the method on getting the spring on correctly. That was driving me insane!
