Buds is shit too many bad reviews of them. I have been running a Core15 keumod scout as a Patrol Rifle for the past 2 years with my PD. About 2500 rounds down the barrel with zero problems. 1/2 MOA shooter with many brands of ammo, Speer 55grain gold dot, Norma Tac223, federal XM193 and Tulua 55 and 62 grain hollow point. Over all I find the core a great value rifle. Would i say it is the same as a DD, LWRC, BCM no I would not. I would say it is easily on the same level as smith and wesson, rock river, colt, Ruger and others in the same ball park.

I purchased this same rifle. I got about 100 rounds through mine and the barrel extension came loose. Fucked the feeding and fucked the entire system. The finish is shit and the parts are crap. My mags would fit right. Took the mag catch out and it was bent inward, clearly poor QC. Core is shit and should be out of business.

I've actually gotten to the point that I refuse to order from Buds anymore, regardless of how low the price is. It's for the exact reason you've indicated. The past 4 firearms I've ordered from Buds, I've either had to refuse at my FFL, or send to the factory to correct. Point being, if I'm spending the money to buy something new, I want it new. Quality control is seriously lacking.

I would send that mf'er back! No way would I accept that. Dirts 1 thing, but scratches? Refund please!

I bought a Core Scout from Buds too. I also was disappointed when I got it. The upper and lower was really loose. I call Core and they asked me to send it to them and they made it right. It was returned within a week and it was solid. Core has a no hassle warranty…. give them a shout and they will take care of it.

That sucks.
