That top pic rail is out of spec it looks like? Is it just not aligned or was it shipped like that?

I HIGHLY recommend Palmetto State Armory for builds like this, better quality and warranty for about the same cost.

Why would you say if your state allows that it? The point of 80% is for none of their damn business.

I have found if you install the front pivot pin inside a gallon size ziplock bag, it will save you the trouble of looking for your detent and or spring!!!!
I have shot the detent across the room twice & found it both times!!!!

It is a good idea to have a spare parts kit like you mentioned.

Why would people complain about how much you are willing to pay to build your firearm? I want to thank you for the videos it helped me with my build than I have been accumulating parts over 3years because I wanted a firearm that was out of my price range or was not comfortable with buying if it was complete. I also wanted to understand how it worked and complications that may come that I needed to know how to fix
I thought the best way was to build to know. Now nearly complete, I need a tool for the barrel and barrel nut install. Life throws wrenches I just wish it was the one I need at this point. Wrench will arrive soon and thanks for the extra push to complete.

How much would you charge me to build one just like that and ship it to me I have my concealed permit

This economically priced AR Pistol kit was surprisingly “well finished”. I’d change out the charging handle, flash hider, upgrade to the steel BU sights, then add a decent red dot (Romeo 5 or Holosun). I guess you’ll have to purchase another one seeing how you forgot to upgrade the charging handle. 😉

Built a Ceratac AR pistol with an 80% lower about a year ago and came out really good! I got all American made lower parts kit and a few other upgrades so it was a bit more expensive but definitely shoots and definitely cycles! Have only plinked with it though, havent shot any paper with it.
