@TATARSTAN59500 While I couldn't vouch for the development of the holographic sight system, which may be Russian, EOTech is an American company, built in the USA.
@blamtam I would disagree. The spread of most shotguns is smaller than you'd think. Popular media seems to perpetuate the idea that pulling the trigger on a shotgun releases this wall of lead pellets. Many narrow-choke shotguns restrict factory 00 Buck loads to 10" or less at 25 yds. Being able to use the larger ring to direct your spread is extremely useful. Also, applications such as shotgun hunting with slugs, would benefit from something like this.

@BLAKOPSROKS123 Hybrid is a CoD term. No one calls it a hybrid in real fire arms. It's called EO Tech or holo sight and optics magnifier.

@TATARSTAN59500 You do realize that EO-Tech is an American company right? They're based in Ann Arbor Michigan. So the Russian Army must be buying American military products, lol! BTW, the U.S. started using these sights as far back as the first Gulf War. They became widely popular during the War in Afghanistan (2001-present) and Iraq (2003-2011). Russia hasn't really been fighting wars like the U.S. has recently. Only that little scrum in Georgia.
