You got it, good work! That thing is awsome!! I've always loved the 7.62×39 pop. You know I oil mine the same way without ever having problems. What I have are rust free firearms that always work. Thank You Sir!!
Mine in 9mm has taught me that there can be no such thing as 2 much lube lol the proper weight from the tuning kit being the most important. It's one gun that is particularly demanding of both but as long as you do them 2 things she will treat you just fine
Not a fan of CMMG, even though they are family owned out of Missouri, nor a fan of the 7.62 x 39, but you know I like hanging out in the morning watching you. I do like watching you working on Tim's stuff as well. I just don't get people's fascination with AR or AK platforms. The only AR platform I would consider at the moment is the one from Big Horn Armory that shoots their rebated rim 500 magnum. That's because that is the baddest big bore "small" frame rifle. I really would like to get rid of a Sig AR with around 1200 rounds just sitting there not collecting dust and maybe put it toward one of those. By the way, I always over oil, let it soak in, then wipe clean. Never had a failure. As Für Elise plays in the background on the ringer.
Thanks Paul! For anyone interested, I contacted CMMG and they were very helpful and totally willing to do anything. If we had to send this in we had tremendous customer support and service.
I used to always clean a new gun before I shot it. These days, I might buy a gun and not shoot it for a few months so I sometimes lose track if I've cleaned it or not. So now, it's a visual inspection, fire a few rounds, and then clean it.
