Streamlight TL-Racker Review
Jim shatters the darkness with this new, inexpensive, high-performance shotgun tactical light from StreamLight
If you’re going to buy one, check out GG&G of Arizona – – I don’t get any commission, any free stuff or anything. But these guys are awesome, and they make shotgun, AR, and AK accessories 100% in America, and always back their products 100%. They even helped me with a pair of BUIS I bought 10 years ago second hand that I had stripped, without knowing about my channel or anything. Very good folks.

You said it takes 18650s, but the Streamlight website and documentation say CR123s only. Can you confirm you have used an 18650? Typically the rechargeable provides more output and/or longer runtimes.
I like your reviews, so I sub'd. I also like it that you are down here in S.C., and was originally from the same New England area like me. 🙂 You gotta agree.. when you can buy a firearm, and be able to go to the shooting range and back, without a CWP.. that is really awesome.. the way it "should be" everywhere.
Does it fit the Mossberg shockwave?
Does it fit the shockwave?
Just mounted one on my 870, really like it. One complaint is that the battery cap is difficult to take off and put on. You can use a coin or something similar but the slightest slip causes damage to the edge of the slot. Overall really like it, if it proves to be durable it is the best thing out there.
agreed; it's solid
Good review!
I just found out about this product last week and I think I may get one or two of these for the Remington 870/Tac14. I've used a lot of Streamlight products over the years and everything but the mini lantern has served me well. I had a Surefire like this Streamlight on my patrol shotgun years ago when I was a police officer and it was handy but the Surefire made the frontend of the shotgun too heavy. Hopefully the Streamlight isn't as heavy as the old Surefire.
Nice job!! Thanks!!
Good idea!
Thanks been looking for a review on this, yours seems to be the first. While a shotgun isn't what I grab my SBS indeed needs a light setup as any long gun should. And Surefire being what they are don't deserve any money.
Do you know if this works on a maverick 88?
Love the reviews , awesome job!
Very cool! can you keep reviewing home defense systems?
