Use Your Standard Rifle Lower to Shoot 9mm? CMMG 9 ARC

#CMMG introduces their 9 ARC magazine, a supplement to their radial delayed blow-back system that allows you to use your standard lower and shoot 9mm. This product is geared toward the maximum modular guy or gal that doesn’t want to be nailed down to a dedicated lower. This is also great for anyone that is tied to a single lower, for instance someone who owns an NFA lower.

This is obviously not a full eval, CMMG asked if I would be interested in debuting the product when they go into production and I thought it was cool. #9mm
This is a collaboration with CMMG and Mean Arms, the makers of the EndoMag.

  1. That's pretty nifty. So… when, I am on the receiving end of an garden variety looking AR, I can be like, "Well, it could be a 9mil… let's hope so!" Anyway, I gotta go buy my Powerball ticket… old enough to be thinking about retirement, you know. πŸ€”

  2. I bought a 3 pack of these from Mean Arms when they first came out waited months from when I pre ordered them . But it turned out to have been a pretty good deal . I've even had good luck with defensive ammo, which rarely works in the standard Colt mags for the AR9 I'm shooting . So they're a little pricey but worth it and I figure you could always convert the PMags back to 556 if I got rid of the AR9.

  3. Say I just want to run the mag (insert) and supply my own upper, do I need anything special? Other than the obvious 9mm barrel? And do they sell those BCG’s separately? I’m on a tight budget

  4. And I just got done building a cmmg dedicated 22 Upper and loved it so if they come out with a 45 I will most definitely by 1. Tempted to get are these but I got to wait and see if they listen to demand

  5. Now if only they would do the same with 45 ACP so that we can run naturally suppress stuff with only a proprietary upper! I don't think gun companies keep in mind the fact that we like handgun calibers because we can suppress them and they're much quieter. 45 ACP is the perfect round to suppress in my opinion. It's a bigger round and creates much more cavitation and you don't have to buy Special ammo to run suppressed.

  6. "The one I was least impressed with was the guy from VSO channel. I don’t think I have ever met such a obnoxious person in my life. Had a silencer manufacturing talking to a group of us and he just barges in like non of the other guys were even there talking to the engineer. And when one asked about Dbs he cut the manufacture off and said Dbs do not matter it’s all about tone then begins to explain how Dbs are not a accurate representation of the sound. It was pitiful like little kid trying to explain something he heard his parents say bad. Think he is mildly retarded or has some type of social disfunction."

    LMAO why is every gun channel legitimately r e t a r d e d ?

  7. These make sense if you don't already have Glock magazines, but not if you are stocked up on Glock mags like yours truly, and if you might carry a Glock of the same caliber with say a PDW

  8. Pretty awesome concept. I would love to see more on this for sure. I bought my first 9mm carbine (the keltec sub 2000) and having tons of fun with it. In the process of modifying it up with MCarbo stuff. Really enjoying the 9mm in rifle form.
