You need to put that 4K on a KDG Sidelok or the appropriate ARMS mount. It gets the scope as low as possible.
Will this trigger work in the Ruger precision rifle
Bought the Rem 700 Diamond single stage…and its putting ragged holes into ragged holes…its amazing…if you do your part.
That second group was much tighter than the first group. Could the barrel warming up with each additional shot contribute to that? If so, that would make a good Competition rifle once you have it dialed in and a good load for it.
I was thinking of building an AR-15 style rifle, but right now I do not have the funds to do it. I still do not know what caliber/cartridge i want to build it in. I would like one in .223/5.56, I was also thinking of building a few in a few other calibers/cartridges. I want to build them not to have a ton of firearms, but 1) to get the experience on what it is like to build firearms, 2) what will the performance be with certain parts with a certain caliber/cartridge. 3) develop loads for the different firearms to bring out the best performance in them. and 4) firearms are just fun to shoot. But I do not have a place to build the firearms and load the ammo for them and I do not have the $$$ to be able to buy the parts and tools and other equipment needed to do all that. Maybe sometime in the future. Until then i just watch YouTube channels like yours and learn! lol
Seems like a viable option.
Put the Geissele match rifle springs in the DMR Trigger to use it at a lower weight. It’s essentially 3 triggers in one.
When you watch someone on YouTube working on the bench, it is interesting to see the "usage" of the tools used to do the real work. I love seeing your ball peen hammer is used like a tool should be. I still have all of my Dad's hand tools that are over 50 years old and in complete working order! Great job! 🙂
I always love the first pull of a new better improved trigger.
You need to put a magpul k2 or k2+ grip on that AR, you will probably like it better.
As for the trigger, i love the triggertech triggers !
Triggertech have cool products! I can't wait to get one for my R700 and AR!
This channel just keeps getting better!
I am a Timney fan so I will go with theirs but it looks nice! You should be able to get the group down less than 1/2 inch at 100 yards with that equipment! You may want to use a rest instead of a bipod. Bipods are combat tactical
And you are shooting groups! That’s target shooting.
You are aware that the grip and hold will affect group size. You must find out how the rifle wants to be held. My bench rifle likes firm but not tight. No squeezing My AR is looking about the same. No death clutches it torks the frame. Remember on exhale, between heart beats. Smooth even pull no jerking. Pull straight back. . I think you were jerking the trigger. And the bipod opened up your group.
The Geissele DMR trigger is the same as the Hi-Speed Nation Match. You just need the correct springs. I believe Geissele now sells the trigger with all three spring combos (Service, DMR, and National Match). This would put the Geissele in the 1.9 – 3.4 lbs adjustment range. Would love for you to try this setup and compare to the TriggerTech. Should be a much more comparable test (even though that wasn't the purpose of this video).

The trigger I want in an AR is the same trigger I have in my CZ550, a single set trigger with a 3-pound normal pull but push it forward until it clicks and you have a 3-ounce pull.
I don't see why no one makes one for an AR.
take down pin aka "California Loading Pin"
Diamond Trigger is $299 US. Wondered the whole video how much it was. #slobber
Great vid Gavin. Ive been waiting for some info on this trigger since they released it.
Have 2 of there other adj triggers and love them. Have been waiting for this one to come to market. Been teased about it for some time. Missed there promotion sale by not checking my email on time. Will be getting one.
What is the legality of having an electric solenoid pull the trigger?
I built an AR-10 6.5 CM and I installed a Trigger Tech trigger 2.5-5 pounds, it is a good 👍 trigger but I wanted a liter to pull weight, so I upgraded to the Diamond trigger, I ❤️ love it much better, it is set @ 2 pounds. This is my third Trigger Tech trigger they are costly but worth it every penny.
Trigger looks great! You should look into the Anarchy Outdoors Emperor Grip or Tuxedo Grip for that AR! A true vertical grip may help you switch between your AR and the Bravo chassis on the bolt gun
I LOVE flat blade triggers with a ridge at the bottom. It's my absolute favorite design. Really easy to have consistent finger placement on the blade.
I'd get a better scope! Definitely like the trigger though! Want to get one for the 6.5PRC AR10 I'm building, but I don't think they're making AR10 triggers yet? I put a Jewell trigger in the 260REM AR10 I build back in the 90's wich I love, but are no longer made by Jewell.
That’s a nice looking trigger
Nice work. I have a Timney Calvin Elite, same 1.5 lbs pull, but love the shoes that comes with it. It helps a lot with my long trigger finger, and I believe is a tad cheaper too. I'd love to see it through your test rig.
great video thank you
great video
I have a TriggerTech (not sure which model) in my R700. Love it.
