@BlueGoose20, I'm not real sure about this, but I think 55 gr. will kill someone just as dead as 62 gr. if that's what you're worried about. As for the range, if it worries you so much, trade your upper for a different barrel or learn how to stalk. However I think it is just a little stupid to be so abusive over a few grains of metal.

i said the POINT OF IMPACT will shift when changing bullet weights.
the scope's bdc will not be as accurate hen sooting "other than 55 gr".
if and when i decide to put some grains in between any body's ears it'll be a little heavier than 55 gr.
300 whisper is weighing in right around 220 grains.

the real dealbreaker is that it isn't "for your ar", it is for "your dad's ar".
the m223 scopes are all optimized for the 55gr bullet. who the hell shoots that anymore from an ar?
sure you can swap complete uppers to shoot 55 gr instead of 62 but why spend the extra money ?
most people will do that to shoot 9mm or 6.8mm.
did nikon japan dream this up?
do they know the difference between 1:7 and 1:9 twist?
